(A/N (William): Sorry this one took so long; a lot is happening in my life, and chapters like these (at least, the latter part of it) are very difficult to write. I'm working on the second draft of my very own book, am working toward my GED and driver's license, and picked up game development (Unity) on top of that. I know excuses won't satiate your hunger for this story, so let's get into it!)
Izuku arrived home at 4:37PM, to see that his mother's car was gone. Off to work, he supposed. It was Friday, but Inko would be working over the weekend, too. Himiko had been left to care for herself, which mostly consisted of watching TV and eating snacks. That's exactly what she was doing when Izuku walked in, tired as all hell. She turned to look at him as he entered, and blanched.
"What happened to you? Who do I need to kill?" She demanded, dropping her bag of chips and storming over. "You look even worse than this morning!"
"I-I'm fine," Izuku waved her off with a smile. "I just worked out a bit too much."
"If you say so," she gave a cheshire grin. "So, what are we doing today?"
Izuku looked at her questioningly.
"Your mom said you always have a plan going on in that noggin, so I was wondering what it was."
"Oh," Izuku hummed. He hadn't actually planned what he would be doing this evening, as he'd already trained all he possibly could. Fortunately, he didn't have to come up with an answer on his own. He faintly heard the sound of a notification on his computer. He gave Himiko an apologetic look and ran towards it, her following shortly behind. An e-mail waited for Izuku, coming from the Ururakas.
Midoriya-kun,
We've begun work on the three store fronts of your building, and we're hoping you'd stop by to give us your input regarding certain design choices. Several shipments were delivered, which we took the liberty of either storing in the building's shared cold storage, or in their respective shops. Your success is our success, after all!
See you soon,
Ururaka Katashi"I guess that's my question answered," Himiko hummed. "It'll be nice to see the place where I'll be living and working."
"Yeah," Izuku said, typing up a quick email saying he'd be there as soon as possible. "What're your favorite colo-"
"Red."
"...I should've known..."
The two of them left the apartment and walked to the train station. Izuku paid for two year-long railway passes, totaling 14,000¥, which took them into central Musutafu. Another twenty minute walk through the city, and the building Izuku had purchased came into sight. A couple blocks beyond it, Izuku could see the twin halves of the U.A classroom complex.
A few trucks were parked on the street in front of the building, which was divided into three even shop fronts along the sidewalk. People constantly came in and out of one shop, taking tools and materials from the trucks. The shop they were working on sat on the corner of the intersection. The two walls facing the intersection were almost entirely made of glass, showing off the interior that had been completely wiped clean. A blank slate.

Standing by this corner, directing the workers, we're the Ururakas themselves. They and everyone else wore hard hats, and Katashi had a clipboard tucked under his arm. They were observing a younger man, whom Izuku didn't recognize from the website, as he thoroughly washed the windows. In intern from another company, likely.
