Sometimes, I look back on my work and am surprised. Not by how good it was, although sometimes I do think that, but by how far I've come as a writer. I've written some three-million words in my life, now, and I think I've gotten pretty good at getting what I want to say onto the page.
Looking back at this story, I see a hundred missed opportunities and mistakes that I could easily rectify using the knowledge I possess now. I was still very new to writing system stories, and this one was amateurish at best, and straight-up bad at worst. I'd like the chance to rewrite this story, but only if you guys want that. The writing would be better, the system more fair, and the relationships developed more realistic.
Please, give me your feedback, those of you who have waited this long for an update:
A) Keep writing this version.
B) Rewrite the story.
If you select option B, choose one of the following:
B-A) Replace the old chapters in this book with the new ones.
B-B) Create a new book for the new version, like what Second Sun is to Great Power.
Thank you for your feedback.
