First time living in North

The brothers were sighing with relief after they brought two ladies out of the room where their mother was angry. "First lesson, never call her that," Tobirama said as he let go of Sakura. "And second lesson, run away and never look back when someone tried to do that..." Hashirama said as he let go of Naruko. "But why?" Naruko asks. "For your safety!" The brothers said. 

'Geez, what is wrong with the Empress....?' Naruko thought. "I shall show you the way to our mother's palace," Hashirama said as he began to show Sakura the way to Empres's palace. Naruko was silent. "I shall show your room," Tobirama said.

Both of them walked around the palace. Then Tobirama opened a door and the room appeared. The room was nice. The wall was pale blue with gold on it. And there was some of her stuff from the south, a lot of them were presents.

Tobirama only looked at Naruko and he felt nice. Soon Naruko saw her plushie. "Tobirama, you shouldn't have placed my plushie on the bed," Naruko said. Tobirama just looked at her with confusion. "What do you mean?" Tobirama asks.

Naruko blushed. "Because I'm no longer a child back when we both met," Naruko said as she looked away. Tobirama looked at her. "Actually," Naruko looked at him. "I didn't place your plushie on your bed." Naruko looked shocked at him. "You didn't....?" Naruko asks. "That must be my mother. I saw both my father and my brother placing the presents. So, I think it was her who placed the plushie." Tobiarama said.

'Empress placed Kurama....?' Naruko thought as she looked shocked at her plushie with Northern Imperial brooch. "Also..." Tobirama looked at her. Then she showed the brooch. "I couldn't return it to you back then," Naruko said.

"Why you do want to return the present that I gave you?" Tobirama asks. "I just, don't feel worthy to have it...." Naruko said. "Don't feel worthy?" Tobirama said. "Then maybe we can break the engagement and you can return to the south Empire," Tobirama said.

"What?! No! I cannot return!" Naruko said. 'I did hard work to change the engagement and it was such a hassle with acting whenever Sasuke was appearing...' Naruko thought as she got the flashback of her 'shaking' and 'crying' when she was seeing Sasuke.

"Well, so I will not take back my present back," Tobirama said. Naruko only looked at the brooch. "You shall go to sleep now. You came very late." Tobirama said. 'Ah, it is dark now?! That was a fast day!' Naruko thought.

"Good night," Tobirama said and left the room. Naruko only looked at Tobirama leaving. She smiled. 'He is a nice guy, but...' Naruko thought. '...is Empress that who I think she is...?' Naruko thought as she looked out the window.

Empress's Palace

Tsukyomi walked inside her palace in anger. "Ah, good evening your majesty." One maid said. Tsukyomi just took off her gloves and gave them to the maid. Sakura was sitting on the couch worriedly. "You are, Princess's Lady-in-Waitting?" Tsukyomi asks. Sakura quickly stood up.

"Yes! That's right! I'm Sakura Haruno." Sakura said as she bowed. Tsukyomi only looked at her. "Tell me, do you know anything about Princess's family tree?" Tsukyomi asks. Sakura looked up. "Well...." Sakura looked away.

'Is she bothered, or what? But, is it known about Namikaze's family?' Tsukyomi thought. "There is not much people know about Princess's mother's past," Sakura said. "Really?" Tsukyomi asks. "They only know that she was a commoner...." Sakura said. Tsukyomi looked shocked a little.

The next week

Emperor Palace

"What? Empress Tsukyomi wants to see me?" Naruko asks as she was standing in a T pose as Sakura was tying the dress. "That's right. That is what she said to me." Sakura said. 'We've come to the North a week ago, and I've been reading the history of the Northern Empire as Tobirama was ding his stuff as an heir....' Naruko thought.

'But why is Tobirama an heir if Hashirama is the oldest?' Naruko thought as Sakura was done tying the dress. "But I need to tell you," Sakura said as she walked away. "Hm?" Naruko looked at Sakura. "She is scary...." Sakura said. "Oh, I see." Naruko smiled. 'I mean, somewhere at this age, Tobirama was scary like her...' Naruko thought.

Soon Sakura was done with the dress. "There! Now you look just beautiful!" Sakura said. Naruko just smiled at Sakura.

Empress's palace

Naruko came inside where Empress Tsukyomi is sitting on a chair and holding a cup of tea. Naruko bowed as she lifted her dress a little. Tsukyomi only looked at her. As Naruko sat down on the chair, Tsukyomi waved her hand to the maids. The maids left the room.

Silence appeared in the room. 'What should I do?! What should I do?! Shall I ask about her day?' She thought nervously. "Um, how is your day?" Naruko asks. "Nothing interesting about how is my mood now. But I have a serious talk with you." Tsukyomi said. "Oh, is it about the engagement?" Naruko asks. "I already gave up on that. Can you tell why I was against the idea of your engagement with my son?" Tsukyomi asks. Naruko became silent and she knew very well what the answer was. "That is because I'm from the South. I know that you don't like the southern Empire much..." Naruko said. Tsukyomi looked at her.

"You are not as stupid as I thought. So you know the answer very well. And, I must say. I will not accept you as my daughter-in-law." Tsukyomi said. Naruko looked at the Empress. "I understand very well. But, I must say. I am a selfish person like others from the South." Naruko said. Tsukyomi glared at Naruko when she heard that and she hid her hand under her bell sleeve her nails began to grow and was becoming dark and sharp. "But I have my reasons for that," Naruko said. "And what is this?" Tsukyomi asks. "All I want is to live and be happy with my father and be away from the hell that I lived," Naruko said. Tsukyomi was surprised.

"That is selfish." Tsukyomi as her nails were becoming slowly back to normal. "But, if you explain a little bit more, I maybe can change my point of view about you," Tsukyomi said. Naruko was silent. 'What can I tell her? That I was reborn and I with my father are the traitors who tried to kill the Emperor with the Crown Prince...?' Naruko thought. "Or don't answer." She said. Naruko only looked at the Empress. "Since I know the answers from someone," Tsukyomi said as she made a sip of her tea. "You know the answers?" Naruko asks. "Of course. I know this isn't your first life." She said with her red eyes shining as a small chest came up to Tsukyomi while it was floating next to her.

I'm so sorry for a long time of waiting! I was having fun with AO3 and with BSD fanfics! So, I made another place to write fanfics. But my Wattpad account will be only Naruto fandom!
