Epilogue

Eight years later

"Aiden!" I screamed at my four-year-old son as I chased him down the hallway.

"Papa!" He cried in delight as Adrian picked him up.

Heaving a sigh, I shook my head.

"Aiden! That was a wrong thing to do! You made Delilah cry!" I told him sternly.

"But mama," he pouted, reminding me of his father.

"What happened, Aiden? What did you do again?" Adrian asked.

"Delilah and I were just playing and I lost. I was angry and pushed her. But I didn't mean it." He explained, giving us those puppy dog eyes of his as if he was the victim.

"Well if you didn't mean it, then you shouldn't be afraid. A good werewolf will say sorry when he has done something wrong. Are you a good werewolf, Aiddy?" Adrian asked.

"Yes! And I'm Aiden, not Aiddy." He replied.

"So Aiden, what should you do now?" I asked him, helping him down.

"Say sorry," he muttered, staring at the ground and shifting his weight from foot to foot.

Just then, Delilah, a three-year-old girl in blonde pigtails came bouncing towards us.

"Aiddy!" She cried.

Nudging my son, he looked at me before turning back to look at her.

"Dee, I'm sorry for pushing you! I didn't mean it." He told her earnestly.

It took her a split second to respond. A wide smile broke onto her cherubic face.

"I forgive you Aiddy! Let's go watch a movie my mummy found!" Delilah said.

With that, they ran towards the playroom hand in hand. Shaking my head, I turned around to face my mate.

"Welcome home honey," I gave him a peck on his lips.

Smiling, he wrapped his arm around my waist and told me about what he did in the afternoon as we walked towards the playroom.

"How was your day, my Bella?" Adri asked.

Before I could answer, Lily barged into the hallway. "Belle, Darlene is playing Beauty and the Beast for the kids!"

"What!?" I exclaimed, horrified.

Rushing down the hallway into the playroom, I shouted impatiently. "Dar, don't corrupt their minds!"

"What?" Dar asked innocently while the kids' eyes were stuck on the screen.

"Mummy, what's 'corrupt'?" Delilah asked Darlene.

Laughing awkwardly, she explained, "its a bit hard to explain. I'd explain it to you when you grow a little older."

"Where's the control?" I demanded, looking around frantically.

All I found was my husband sitting with the kids, watching the movie intently.

When he saw me staring at him dumbfounded, he said. "What? We haven't watched this in so long! Brings back so much memories!"

"Come on, watch with us," he added, patting the spot next to him.

Heaving a sigh of exasperation, I gave in and cuddled next to him as we re-watched the movie Dar filmed so many years ago.

We laughed and told the kids about what happened all those years ago. By the time the movie ended, both of them had fallen asleep.

Smiling, Dar picked up the half asleep Delilah.

"Mummy, where's Daddy?" She mumbled.

"Daddy's doing patrol tonight sweetheart. Let's get you to bed." She cooed at her.

With a brief goodnight to us, she carried her back to her room.

"We should bring Aiddy to bed too," I told Adrian.

"Hmm," he agreed as he brought him into his arms.

Looking at his innocent sleeping face, I couldn't help but think about how he looked like an exact replica of his father.

"And he's going to grow up to be as hot as his father," Adrian commented, reading my mind once again.

"Hopefully, he'd grow up to be more humble than his father," I retorted back, only to receive a chuckle in response.

Tucking him into his bed gently, I kissed Aiden good night.

As soon as we reached our room, I felt Adri's arm snake around my waist. I looked up and was greeted by golden eyes.

Finally, we're alone. His eyes shone with mischief.

He leaned in and I responded immediately, our hearts beating as one.

"I love you, my Bella."
