After awkwardly trying to explain the delay, Caitlyn had been somewhat relieved to hear the enforcers outside had noticed Jinx.  From there, the challenge had been keeping the others close enough to her and Vi not to lose them, but not so close that she could be caught, as well as making sure their rought to the bridge didn't get barricaded.  All in all, it was quite the exhausting process, and all the while, it was still on her mind how absolutely crazy this was!
Finally, after what felt like hours, the bridge became visible in the distance.  Caitlyn took her rifle off her back, and prepared to aim it.  The timing had to be completely spot-on.  No room for mistakes, it had to look like Vi couldn't catch her, and it had to be clear that she was heading for the bridge to escape into Zaun.
As she saw Jinx getting near the riverbank and readied the rifle, the thought planted itself in Caitlyn's mind suddenly.  Here was her chance.  It was already set up to be justified to the others.  She could make Vi believe it had just been a misfire.  When would there ever be another chance after this?  Stopping to get a steady shot, she watched as Jinx halted at the riverbank, taking clear aim at the back of her head!
"M-maybe I am just a jinx, but...  I-I can't hurt you!"  The words broke into Caitlyn's thoughts, and before she could stop it, the sight of that girl clinging to her sister was playing itself in her mind.  A moment later, the memory of her coughing, coughing up blood, came back to her as well, and the gentle way Vi tended to her.  Besides that, she'd promised Vi she'd miss.  She couldn't lose that trust, especially not like this.  Taking a slow breath, she began lowering the rifle.
The very next moment, though, a loud shot rang out as the rifle went off!  Caitlyn's eyes flashed down to the trigger!  Her finger was still on it, and she'd been just too slow in changing her course of action!  Turning her eyes back up, the sight she saw sent such a cold shock through her that she barely nodded herself dropping the gun!
