Rating: 4/10 not good but I agree scallops are gross so I'll give it some points
Prompt: It's a new year! Write about a time when you tried something new.

One time I tried something new. once my family were eating shrimp and scallops. I hate both of them. I was PEACEFULLY eating my peas and my dad said how about you try a scallop and I said no my dad said it tasted like butter I said no. A couple minutes later I ate it and it tasted NOTHING like butter. My mom asked how was it and I said it's worse than butter, It really was, my mom kept asking. Then she said is it an option, to that I said no never. Then I retreated to my room with a stomach full of delicious peas and one gross scallop.
