Over and Over ( part II)

Lovely's POV

We pulled up to the mall, and it was crowded as usual. We all got out of the car and walked inside. I immediately walked to the food court, and I ordered my food as Cole and his nephew went to order Chick-fil-A. I sat at the table downing my food, and thinking about the last time I ate from this place. It was when I snuck in town to surprise Clay and tell him I was pregnant... little did I know the joke was on me after catching him buying baby clothes for him and Tammy's supposed to be child. It's crazy how life is, but I'm starting to realize you can't give up on life just because it isn't going your way, like they say "When life throws you lemons you make lemonade".

"What you over here thinking about?" Cole spoke breaking me out of my thoughts.

I smiled.

"You" I responded.

"I wanna say thank you, Cole, for being a real friend when I needed one. It feels like you're all I have."

"Well, thanks, but trust me...I'm not all you have. Everyone loves you, you just have to start loving yourself again, that's all" Cole spoke.

I smiled as he wiped the sauce from my lips.

"OMG Lovely!" I heard someone yell.

I looked up to see Kandi, my ex best friend from high school.

"Kandi" I spoke surprised.

"Wow! It's been awhile last time I saw you, you and Clay were going to eat and I invited ya'll to my church" Kandi spoke not realizing that Cole was sitting next to me.

"Yea, well, a lot has changed" I spoke looking at Cole.

"Oh, my bad. Nice to meet you" Kandi spoke holding out her hand.

"Likewise" Cole spoke simply smiling.

"Ok, well, here's my card. Give me a call anytime Lovely, I would love to hear from you and the offer still stands about church now."

"Ok" I replied .

I sat back down. It was honestly a breath of fresh air to know somebody was back on track in life. As I finished eating, we stood up to finally hit some stores.

"Imma go over there to this new store Ragz. I heard they got lil boys clothes" Cole spoke.

"Ok, I'll come too. Maybe I can get some stuff for the boys."

As we walked toward the store, I spotted Zoe headed in the same direction as me. I stopped and called her name.
