"Write To Rank" is a contest I've seen around in the past, hosted by the action team! I've always been interested in the concept, but haven't joined, because I am not an action writer in the slightest. If you've read my work, you know my strengths are my descriptive prose and character development---sort of the opposite skill set one needs for writing action stories, which are all about plot and pacing.
I decided to give it a try this year, because I haven't been writing as much as I should. It's also a fabulous challenge to do something you aren't particularly talented at, or experienced with doing. I am not sure if my admittedly verbose style is able to translate into the action genre---I actually don't even care for action movies, so it might be a stretch. However, I'm going to give it a try until I find myself stuck! <3
I hope you'll take time out to read these short pieces! If I stick with the project (always an IF with me. ;) ), I may place these entries in a separate book.
It's been too long since I've shared my creative side with Wattpad, and time constraints mean I won't be writing here the way I used to. However, I've missed all of my friends, the challenges, and the community here that's been my home for the past five or six years.
