Bumped Into

Chapter 25

I woke up pretty early, it was 8am. I heard voices outside Luke's room, I walked over and opened the door. It was Luke's brothers Ben and Jack. "What you guys doing?" I say rubbing my eyes. They smirk and say 'never mind'. I couldn't be asked to argue to I just made my way to the bathroom.

After I was done doing my business, I looked in the mirror, my hair was a mess so I put it up into a pony tail. I walked out of the bathroom and I saw Ben and Jack ran out of Luke's room. I then heard yelling. "I'm going to fucking kill you." And "you arseholes, you just wait". It was Luke yelling.

I walked to his door and my mouth dropped when I saw Luke covered in water. He was standing up and his clothes stuck to him, his bed was also covered with water. It was bad but I couldn't help but laugh. "W...what happened?" I ask him. He storms past me pushing me towards the door. He looked funny. I couldn't hold in my laugher anymore. I laughed and Luke turned around. "Oh so you think this is funny do you? Was you in it with them? You know what just fuck off" he yells at me. At that point Ben and Jack come out their room and raise their eyebrow at Luke yelling at me. I didn't know what to do, I wanted to cry. "I hate you" Luke says to his brothers. They laugh. "Charlie just go away. I'm not in the mood. You can all fuck off" Luke says before going into the bathroom and slamming the door.

I didn't know what to do, i felt the tears leaving my eyes and I ran down the stairs, "wait Charlie don't go" I heard Jack shout, I ignored him and I ran out the house. I didn't know Michael's address but I remembered my way. I ran to Michael's house with tears streaming down my face. The way Luke looked at me, I felt terrible and I didn't even do anything. I saw the hate in his eyes and it made me cry even more.

I came up to Michael's door still crying and knocked on his door. His mum opened the door and saw the state I was in. She walked me into the hallway, "do you need Michael darling?" She asks and I couldn't talk so I shook my head yes. "Okay, he's upstairs in his room. It's the room on the left of the stairs" she says and with that I run up the stairs and into Michael's room.

I opened the door and shut it behind me. Michael was asleep and I didn't want to wake him. I slid down the door and fell to the floor. I pulled my legs to my chest and just cried into my legs. I didn't know how long I did that for but I suddenly felt hands move my face so I was looking up. "Char, what's wrong? What's happened?" Michael says still half asleep. He picks me up and brings me into bed with him. I cuddle up to him and keep crying. I finally told him what happened and how Luke looked at me and what he said. Michael sighed and held me tighter. "It's okay char, have some more sleep. I'll be here when you wake up" he says and I nod against his chest and slowly fall asleep.

I don't know what time it was but I woke up. Michael was sitting at the end of his bed playing on his Xbox. "Hey sleepy head" he smiles as he notices I'm wake. "Hi" I say and move next to him. I lean my head on his shoulder and watch him play. After a moment Michael breaks the silence, "so I've spoken to Luke. He's coming over in an hour." He says. I didn't say anything, I just continued to watch him play. "Char, Luke is just cranky when he wakes up, he didn't mean what he said, I know it hurt but he didn't mean it. I know Luke, he wouldn't want you hurt you" Michael adds. I nod and stand up. Michael looks at me and then takes my hand. "Time for some food" he smiles before dragging me down the stairs.

Michael had cooked me breakfast. Yup, Michael cooked my breakfast you read that right. We finished our food but we sat there drinking our orange juice. "The boys are all coming over today for some band stuff" Michael tells me but I already knew. I finish my drink and place my cup in the sink. I was about to ask Michael when Luke was going to be here when there was a knock at the door. I sat back at island in the kitchen while Michael got the door.

I sat there looking at my socks, they're white with different coloured patches. I looked up to see a sad Luke looking at me. "Luke" I smile at him. He walks over to me and pulls me into a tight hug. "I'm so so so sorry. My brothers just make me so angry. I'm so sorry I upset you. I will never upset you again. I was just cranky and my brothers just annoy me so much. Please forgive me" Luke says all at once. I hold onto him tighter. "I forgive you Luke" I say. I pull away and wrap my hands around his neck. I bring his face closer to mine before attaching our lips. Our lips moved in sync and I could feel his passion in this kiss. The kiss become more heated and I played with the ends of his hair. We stopped when we heard a cough in the doorway. "I just came to inform you that band practice is starting Lucas" Calum says with a massive smirk on his face. I smirk back at him. "Go, I'll be down in a minute" I say. Luke nods and kisses the top of my head whispering a "I love you" before leaving the room.

I do myself some more orange juice. And think about how much I loved Luke and how much he must love me. I skipped towards the door and towards the music that had started playing.
