Percy pov:

I was ecstatic. The cruise was huge.

Luke gave me a tour of it. He brought me to the cafe, and I might have swiped some food off the counter. Don't blame me though, blame my stomach. So while Luke was showing me all these fancy paintings and rooms, I was stuffing my face with red velvet cake. Not as good as blue cookies, but fairly good. And when Luke saw crumbs falling from nowhere, he looked at me and rolled his eyes.

'Percy! Are you seriously eating? Already?' He scolded.

I put on my best, sorry not sorry face, hoping it would save me. He just smirked.

'For that, I am going to kick your butt when we sword fight.'

'You already do that!'

'Are you also volunteering to clean my room? Oh thanks Perce!'

'Hey!'

'Not my problem.'

I stuck my tongue out at him, and he stuck his tongue back out at me. After we finished messing around, he introduced me to the monsters. This was the not so pleasant bit. I still felt uneasy around them, and I held Riptide in my hand just in case.

I met an empousa named Kelli. She had a stupid mall girl accent, and my ears hurt listening to her blabber. Oh Luke, you're so amazing. Oh Luke, you're so hot. She flirted with Luke so often I wanted to puke. And then I met the bears.

They looked like twins, but they weren't human. They stood about two and a half metres tall, for one thing, and wore only blue jeans, probably because their enormous chests were already shag-carpeted with thick brown fur. They had claws for fingernails, feet like paws. Their noses were snout like, and their teeth were all pointed canines.

I was definitely intimidated. How the Hades could Luke be so calm about all this?

After I had met all the hordes of monsters, I told Luke that I was tired. I mean, talking to monsters really can drain you. Luke sighed, and led me to where I would be sleeping. It was completely blue. I smiled, thinking about my mom. I was glad she was safe, but I wish she was here. But she'd probably disapprove of what I'm doing, so. Not telling her. Yet.

I laid down on my blue sheets, covering my whole body. It was way more comfy than the bunks in Camp Half-Blood. I looked at the ceiling, thinking about everything that happened today. I missed Annabeth, which was weird. I just met her. Why did I feel so close to her? I kept pondering this question, until I fell asleep.

Annabeth POV

I was going into my cabin when I saw a note attached to the door. I picked it up, and luckily it was in Greek. The first time I read it, I was confused. The second time, I started to understand. The third time... let's just say... I didn't handle it well. I made a noise of confusion, and sprinted to the big house. I ran straight into Chiron's office, which was open. It was usually locked, but I didn't care. We had more important matters at hand. He looked at me, with a face of confusion. I put the note in his hands, not speaking. He read it, and his face looked grim.

'Come, child. We need to announce this.' He said.

I nodded, but I was still shocked. I ran to every  senior counsellor, and told them to gather their cabins at the dinner pavilion. I almost went into the Poseidon cabin, then remembered. Percy wasn't there.

I went into the Hermes cabin, and told them myself. Luke wasn't there, and they had to know. Once everyone was gathered, Chiron stood up, asking for silence. Everyone looked very confused, but shut up.

'We have some news. As you know, Percy Jackson was the leader of the last quest.' Everyone nodded, then looked thorough the crowd, probably searching for Percy.

'And Luke Castellan was the leader of the one before.' Again, everyone tried looking for Luke, but to no success.

'Well... I have bad news about them.'

Everyone started muttering and Connor Stoll asked, 'Where are they?'

Chiron looked at him sadly.

'That is why we are here. Unfortunately, Luke has joined the Titan Lord himself. Kronos.'

There was a collective gasp, and I decided to tell them about the note.

'He left a note, on my cabin door. Before he... left.'

Everyone's faces were now grim, but they nodded, letting me speak.

(Guys n authors note here alr i tried to put in the new note but for some reason it won't let me paste it :((( so um pretend she reads it out)

'Percy Jackson has gone missing, and he was last seen with Luke. So, um, I think he- I think he also joined Kronos.'

When I said Percy's name, my voice cracked with pain. I knew I shouldn't have told the whole camp about the last part, but I knew Chiron would tell them anyway.

The sound of loud outbursts broke out.

'Percy Jackson? As in the guy who returned Zeus's lightning bolt?'

'Seriously?'

'Luke...'

'I am going to smash Prissy into a pulp!' Probably Clarisse.

Whilst everyone was thinking up things they would do to the two, I slipped away to my cabin, which was currently empty.

I really wished it wasn't true. But, the evidence was right in front of me. I couldn't deny the logic of it.

Luke. Percy. They had left. They had joined Kronos. Why? I could understand Luke- Hades, I could understand. But Percy? It didn't make sense. I was bewildered. I put my face in my hands. I felt like crying. I didn't cry often. Why did them leaving hurt so much?

I heard my cabin door being pushed open. I saw Chiron in his wheelchair. He rolled up to me, and put his hand on my shoulder.

'Annabeth, child. I know this is a lot to deal with, but they are waiting for you. If you see Percy...'

He stopped, pain in his eyes. I remembered that he taught Percy for a few months, before he knew he was a demigod.

'Try convince him to join the gods again. We need him in these years, more than ever.'

I nodded, and hugged him.

'Bye, Chiron. I'll see you soon.'

He smiled at me, and I returned the favour.

'I do hope so, Annabeth.'

I ran to my cabin, thinking about Luke and Percy and grabbed my stuff. I ran to Thalia's pine, where I saw my family. My dad, my evil stepmom, and my two annoying little brothers. Hoping things would end better than last time, I walked up to them. I looked back at Camp one more time before smiling at my dad.

I knew I had to one thing when I got back;

Look for Luke and Percy, and make them see sense.
