There she was, found her.

Rebecca was leant up against the brick wall of the bar I'd gone to last night, shivering. Her eyes were cast downwards, her hair curtained over the sides of her face. She fiddled with something unidentifyable in her fingers.

I stared at her carefully, letting my fingers drum out an uneven rythym over the steering wheel. As much as I would have liked to turn back and have a nice hot cup of tea back at home, I knew that it was too late to abandon her like this.

Speaking of abandoning, why hasn't she left yet?

A curious frown fell on my lips. Slowly unbuckling myself, I sat quietly and watched her. Until suddenly she looked up, icy blue orbs squinting my way. A yelp caught itself in my throat as I quickly snapped my head around to the opposite direction.

God, it was just like the other night. She'd caught me staring at her like some sort of creepy stalker. Sighing, I scrated the nape of my neck and pretended to be involved in something else until a moment had passed, deeming it safe for another quick look. Glancing from the corner of my eye, I looked at the place where Rebecca stood.

But as I turned fully, I frowned. I found myself staring at an empty alleyway - she was gone. Disappeared like I had thought she would. Damn it.

"Shit," I cursed, clenching and unclenching my fingers around the steering wheel. I should have just gone to talk to her sooner instead of just looking at her like some pervert.

Shifting the car into drive, I sped a little over the speed limit, just because I could. With a few angry mumblings, I finally decided to fulfill my word and go to the store for Louis.

I'd just get the stupid milk and go.

Rebecca's POV

The wind played with my hair, tossing it back over my shoulders. It made goosebumps prickle down my arms and up my legs, sending shivers up my spine. It was cold. Sighing, I kicked at the small pebbles lining the sidewalk, not being able to keep up with my thoughts.

A million thoughts were running through my head at lightning speed.

The neon sign was right above me, taunting my eyes with it's brightness. I could hear the pounding music of the club already going, even though it was still bright and early in the morning. It had to be at least 10am.

For one measly second, I debated whether or not I should return back to the apartment, meet with Jake, relax until he came home. But then the wind swept it away again.

There was no chance, not at all. As much as I didn't want to remember the last time I'd seen him, my mind started to play it back anyway, ignoring my pleading protests.

*~*

I leaned over the wall of the crowded night club, trying to avert my eyes away from my boyfriend Jake. I could feel his eyes burning into my back. He was dancing wildly on the dance floor, drunkenly grinding himself against some blonde chick.

I felt the tears burning in my eyes, but I quickly padded them away with my fingertips before they could smear my makeup. Groaning, I sat down at a table, grudgingly stirring around my drink, a ginger ale.

His behavior was no surprise. I couldn't say I was paticularly happy with my boyfriend dancing with someone else, but to be honest I didn't really have the mental strength to care much anymore.

The black dress I was wearing quickly hiked up my thighs, making several men in their drunken state to stare. I tugged it down further than I had already managed to make it, and sat back down, resting my head in my hand as I stirred my drink.
