Harry's POV

She was screaming.

I jolted awake, my startled eyes growing wide at the sound of the shrill shrieks piercing  through the silence.  Sighing, I ran my fingers through my damp curls, unsticking them from my sweaty forehead.

It was like this almost every night now, ever since Jake hurt her. I tossed aside my covers, hissing as soon as the cold made contact with my clammy skin. Shivering,  I swung my legs over the side of the bed, pulling on a pair of boxers.

"Louis," I hissed in the dark, scanning the room for Louis' bed until I saw his sleeping form. I quickly walked over to him, gently shaking his large shoulder.

"Boobear, she's up again." I whispered. Louis stirred, his angelic face turning into an annoyed frown. He slapped at my bare chest, moaning frustratedly.

"Then go do something about it," Louis mumbled before crossing his arms and turning his back to me. I stared at him for a moment, watching his chest start to rise and fall in a rythmic pattern. Sighing with defeat, I stood up from his bed and jogged toward's my  bedroom, where Rebecca was staying.

I hurriedly swung open the door to her room and immediately rushed to the side of her bed, kneeling down to her eye level.

"Hey, hey shhh sweetheart it's alright," I whispered, smoothing back her blond hair as she slowly started to quiet herself. Her eyes fluttered as she tried to see me through the dark.  Letting out a sad whimper, she tossed her head back onto her pillow and began to cry, big teardrops running down her cheeks.

I sighed and kept petting back her hair, continuing to coo sweet nothings into her ear. Suddenly, I was jolted out of my sleepy state as she grabbed me and yanked me onto the bed with her. I drew in a sharp breath as she scooted over so I had some room.

She looked down at me, her eyes still glistening with the left over tears. I couldn't help but give her a small smile.

God, she was so beautiful. I loved everything about her. Her silky blond hair that ran down her sides, her sweet blue eyes that were so full of mystery. There was still so much I didn't know about her, yet I found myself falling for her.

Maybe she wasn't just a friend anymore.

Besides, nothing the same anymore since she's appeared.

Rebecca frowned, her eyebrows furrowing together as she scanned my face.

"I'm fine, babe." I grinned. She smiled back, but I could still see the worry that lingered in her expression. Finally I scooted myself down next to her, fidgeting around until I was comfortable. After awhile, Rebecca and I both managed to fall asleep.

--------------------

The light beams trickled through the gap in between the curtains, making me stir in my sleep. I squeezed one eye open and dared a look to my side. And there she was. Sunlight pour across her sleeping form, she looked almost angelic.

She lay with her lips slightly pouted and her eyes closed softly. My face broke into a smile, ear to ear, as she fidgeted in her sleep. Once she had resumed a comfortable position her mouth turned up ever so insignificantly that I nearly missed the action with a blink.

Careful not to wake her, I brushed my fingers lightly along the side of her face, sweeping away any hair that had rested on her skin. Regrettably, Rebecca’s eyes opened slowly - like a puppy waking up to the world for the first time - until finally a sleepy smile arose on her face. The normal light-blue color of her eyes was slightly blurry due to the recent wake that clouded her pupils.
