Hi everyone! Thank you so much for giving my new book, Pokémon: Mysteries of Hisui, a chance! Words cannot express how excited I am with this fic, especially since I'm addicted the game, Pokemon: Legends of Arceus. The storyline is so well-written, and I love how thrilling it is.
Now, while I'm taking a majority of the source material, there will be a few changes. This is because if I were to write solely from the game, those who have played the entire thing would get bored, and then there's the part where it would probably take two to three books to finish. My plan is to keep this a stand-alone. There's no reason for me to write a sequel after this...unless Pokémon were to make another Legends Game (Nudge nudge, Gamefreak, hint hint). Not only this, but I will be taking a little bit of inspo from the anime, which I'm sure will be very notable in the first chapter.
I am also planning for this to be a book where you, the reader, can decide on a few things. At the end of all my chapters, I'll end with a question because I love interacting with readers, but some of them will be questions that will help me decide what to do next with the story. Some will be very apparent as to what they are (for example, I plan on asking help for which Pokemon our heroine should catch), but others might not be. So, if you'd like to help change the fate of this story, feel free to answer the Chapter Questions, especially the bolded ones (as those are the ones that are asked in regards to determine the fate of the story).
At the moment, this is all that I have plan. There will be some violence, but no more than what the Pokemon: Legends of Arceus has. Curse words wise, I don't think there'll be much, but we'll have to wait and see how the characters end up writing themselves.
With that being said, thank you all again for giving my story a chance. Feel free to leave comments on parts you like and have a wonderful day!
