chapter twenty: life is too short

Kellin Quinn's P.O.V.

I have hope that she'll be okay. Maybe they can save her. Maybe she didn't cut too deep.. Maybe.. my thoughts are interrupted.

"I'm sorry to tell you this.. but.. she did not make it." These words from the doctor echo throughout my mind. I look at Gerard and Oli. Gerard almost collapses to the floor, Andy has to hold him up. We all take a seat. I bury my face in my hands and sob. Oli sits next to me. No words are exchanged. I bury my face into his chest crying even harder. This can't be real.
"This is a dream right?" I ask Oli.
He shakes his head. Tears streaming down his face.
"No." He lets out as a whisper. I look away from him.

-A few weeks later-

Gerard Way P.O.V.

We all find it sad when a person takes away their life. It makes you open up your eyes and see things more clear. What if we could've helped them? How could we have not saw the signs? All of these thoughts go through your head.

"Lets all take a moment of silence for the lose of our beloved student, and my loving daughter Taylor Momsen." Taylors dad says to the whole school. He should be fired as a principal. He should be put in prison for what he did to Taylor. He thinks no one knows what he did to her. But I know. I look at Andy, Kellin and Oli who is sitting beside me. And they know as well..

The whole school is silent. I glare at Mr. Momsen.
"Her funeral will be held this friday. It's an open funeral, so anyone of you can come." He countinues after the silence.. he looks at me for a second. I feel my blood boil. I stand up.
"Maybe you should tell everyone what you did right before Taylor took her life?" My voice raises. He turns pale, like hes just seen a ghost.
"I- I don't know what you're talking about." He stutters.
I raise my voice louder.
"You raped her!" Oli grabs my arm trying to sit me back down.
"You raped her! Knowing she was a virgin! Knowing what sort of damage that would do to her!" I yell holding back tears. I start walking towards him. Andy and Kellin get up grabbing me.
"Hes not worth it." Oli whispers in my ear, calming me down.
"You think this is over? Its not! I told the cops! When the police take tests on Taylor. They'll find out what YOU did! YOU'RE SCUM! YOU'RE worthless!" I start to cry.

Security, Oli, Kellin and Andy pull me out of the auditorium. I push security off.
"Get off!" I storm off. Oli follows me.

Life is so short. Memories of Taylor flash in my mind. I miss her so much.
I stop and look at Oli.
"I miss her."
"Me too Gerard. Me too." He holds me.

Andy Biersack P.O.V.

Location: at Gerard's house, six month later.

"School is over." I say as we sit down playing video games.
After the whole tragedy, we all became close. We all apologized and now we're inseparable. Its pretty sad that sonething so horrible had to happen in order for us to appreciate life and appreciate a friendship like ours. It still hurts but we don't talk much about her death.

Gerard and Oliver are in a relationship. I'm happy for them. I'm Oli's best friend. Yes, I was in love with him at one point, but I understand his choices and I have learned my lesson completely. I will not ruin them. Kellin has been single since Taylor. He says he's happy that way. I feel like it will take him a very long time to move on.

"Summer vacation!" Gerard jumps on Oli. I laugh.
"What should we all do?" Kellin says.
"Make memories duh." I say to Kellin.
Gerard and Oli are play fighting.
"Hey! Hey!" I yell at them laughing.
They look at me. I jump on top of both of them, grabbing a pillow from the couch.
They roll me over to the floor. Kellin just laughs at the corner of the couch.
"Think this is funny?" I throw the pillow at him.
"Ouch!" He laughs and we all start rumbling on the floor. We all stop when we hear a knock.
"What was that?" Gerard says.
"A knock." Kellin answers.
"Well go open it." Gerard says to Kellin.
"Its your house." Kellin replies.
"Its probably your parents." I say to Gerard.
"They're gone on business Andy!" He whispers lowly.
"Its not gonna be a monster!" I laugh a bit and get up.
"You guys are such vaginas I swear." I open up the front door to the house. Its a girl.

"Well hello.." I say slowly furrowing my eyebrows. She's pretty.

"Hi I'm Taylor.. Taylor Jardine. I was a friend of Taylor Momsen." The girls replies.

I look at her. The guys come up behind me.
"Who's this?" Kellin says.
Gerard looks at Taylor.
"Jardine?" He says to her a bit shocked and confused.
"Hi gerard.." she answers.
"I just wanted to stop by and talk.." she says.
"Im Taylor Jardine." She says to Kellin and Oli.

Kellin looks sad when he hears the name Taylor.
"I was a friend of Taylor's." She countinues. "Can I come in?" She looks at me and then Gerard.

"Sure.. of course."
She walks in smiling a bit to all of us.
This is going to be one hell of a summer.
I close the door.
