Kirishima's fight with the current winner started off well. They agreed to no transformations or magic and just to battle with their fists, which was the norm for most challenges. In the first few minutes, Midoriya could tell how trained Kirishima was, and how his fighting style made him a good brawler. Yet, he could also tell that something was off about the fight as it progressed. Next to him, Bakugou could tell the greenett was thinking about something, his tell hadn't changed much since they were younger.

"You okay? What did you mean earlier about something being off?" Bakugou asked, making sure Midoriya was the only one who could hear him.

"Yeah...I'm fine," he answered. "Not sure why, I just feel like something isn't right, but I can't pinpoint what."

They watched the fight, and despite Kirishima's raw strength and ability, he soon slowed down and was also knocked out in a final punch to the face. The crowd again cheered, this time the winner roared out to them and did a round of victory around the arena. Kirishima, now conscious again, was able to walk out the arena on his own, but he still was told to go to medical to get checked out.

The announcer asked again for any new challengers. Bakugou went to speak up, ready to show what he got, but Midoriya stopped him. He whispered something in his ear, and he nodded his head. The rest of the group gave them a quizzical look, and before anything could be said it was announced that the current winner was unchallenged. He was asked to leave the arena for any new challenges to be made. It didn't take long, a couple of people who wanted to fight each other took the arena, and the next round started.

Sneaking off, Midoriya made his way to the announcer and came back after asking a couple of questions. The group, now with Kirishima back, decided that the next few challenges weren't as interesting and decided to check out the rest of the challenges and games. Each of them took turns doing the obstacle course, the end results being Bakugou and Midoriya with the best times. Over the next couple of hours the group ran around playing at anything that caught their attention. Getting hungry, they headed over to some food stalls where they ran into Midoriya's friends.

"Midoriya, I was wondering when we would run into you," Iida said with his arm pointing up.

"Yeah, we thought we would catch you winning at the challengers arena," Uraraka added. Todoroki, behind the other two, nodded in agreement.

"We were there this morning, but we've been going through all the other games. Want to join us for some food before we go back to the arena?" Midoriya asked.

"That sounds like a good idea!" Kirishima chipped in and the others yelled out in agreement.

The now slightly bigger group split up among the booths and got whatever food they were wanting. Somehow they were able to find an empty place big enough for all of them to sit and enjoy the food. They chatted about what the other three had done during their free day, the food slowly disappearing as they did. Once the food was all gone, the group headed back to the arena.

When they got there, the winner from the morning was nowhere to be seen, but a board was erected to one side that had the current highest wins alongside the person's name. The top name had a total of 39 wins, the second name had 27, and the third had 15 which wasn't too bad for the first day.

The current fight was a brutal one as both fighters had accepted being in a half-shift form so their wolf ears, tail, and claws were out only. The one wolf with dark brown fur seemed to be the better fighter overall, but the other one with lighter brown fur and black at the tip of his tail was getting in some good hits too. Both had several cuts, bruises forming, and were breathing hard, but in the end it was the dark brown wolf that won. Despite winning, though, the dark brown wolf declined any more fights and left the arena with the other, both heading towards the nearest tavern.
