Sorry for the long delay on getting a chapter out for this story, I've been focusing on my other story. Not a major chapter, but please enjoy.

It only took 5 minutes, 7 tops, to get to the King's private library, but in that time chaos was left in their wake. Okay, that was a bit of a stretch, but Bakugou knew that an impression was definitely made. The two of them had walked down the halls and up a couple of flights of stairs, passing maids, nobles who were tired of being stuck in their rooms, and the many palace guards. He was sure that at least two guards had walked into walls, two ladies dressed in what he assumed were supposed to be the latest fashion had looked dumbstruck after Midoriya passed them, and many of those maids would stop and stare at them before huddling together to start gossiping and giggling.

By the time this meeting was over, the whole castle would be buzzing.

Internally sighing, Bakugou kept close to his omega as they finally reached their destination.

Midoriya knocked, and within seconds it was opened. Inside was a small library office with windows on one side facing out onto what was the garden, currently buried in snow. On the other was a small fireplace, which was where the King's desk was set up and where everyone was standing around.

The King stood behind his desk with his three commanders situated around him. It had been the prince who had opened the door to let them in with Kirishima standing to the side with a smile and wave. To both of their surprise, All Might was seated on the other side of the door, greeting them with a nod of his head.

"Good, I'm glad you two made it. I know you two have gone through an ordeal, but unfortunately there has been news that couldn't wait," the King said.

On his desk was a map that was of the whole kingdom and some of the surrounding lands. Already several places were marked with little war figurines. Most were on the western mountain border, and he could see one was up north close to where the wolf pack was.

"We understand, your highness," Midoriya said, bowing slightly. "And before anyone asks, I am well enough, but I must ask that the other questions be put off just a little longer."

Everyone in the room smiled and nodded their heads in understanding.

"So be it. When you two are ready, we can discuss it then. Now," the King said, looking at everyone. "Let us get this meeting started."

The meeting started off with catching everyone up on what was going on. The damaged gate was to get a temporary gate put in until a proper one could be built, and in the meantime extra guards as well as mages were being posted around the clock. This was also expanded to the other gates as a precaution.

Those that had been living near the South gate and had damage done to their homes were currently being housed by others while repairs could be done. Sadly, those repairs were going to be delayed some due to the weather conditions and the safety of sending anyone out to get wood.

Once everyone was caught up, they moved on to what was most recently revealed.

"Last night, a messenger from a village two days southwest from here arrived." The King pointed to a village on the map which was also close to a pass that was already marked with a red flag. "According to them, the same monsters that attacked yesterday passed right by the village. Once the villagers were warned of how close the two things were, everyone ran for shelter, but no attack came."

"That isn't normal for these monsters," Bakugou said.

"Correct. Once the villagers emerged to find that the monsters had left them alone, one hunter was sent out to track and find out where they were heading," The King continued.
