"Krul Tepes, thank you for coming, please sit."
"My lady Mahiru, to what do I owe the pleasure of your audience?"
"Ah don't bother with formalities old girl, I have grown tired of dancing around things, let's get straight to the point."
"If that is what your ladyship wishes, then of course."
"Guren and Shinya have escaped and gone off the record, as I'm sure you have heard."
"Yes, I'm afraid I did catch wind of that, most unfortunate. Guren was a valuable member to the cause."
"Yes indeed, he was. Anyways, you and Guren have been quite close for awhile now, and I have previously expressed my suspicions towards you two.
"I am well aware my lady, I promise you I knew not of Guren's treacheries."
"Yes I'm sure... But if you do know anything, you must tell me. I'm afraid that you are my biggest liability at the moment, you are the most untrustworthy person in this place, and if you believed my eye to be watchful previously, I fear for your privacy now. If you know anything, tell me now, before I find out what it is you are hiding from me, myself."
"My lady, I mean you no ill will. I understand most ardently your suspicions but I know nothing, I believed Guren to be a dear friend because I was under the impression that he was a loyal contributor to the Future Project. Watch me if you may, but you will find nothing."
"I do hope you speak virtuously, for your sake."

It was no surprise to anyone of Yuichiro's swift recovery. The boy regained consciousness a mere twelve hours after his blood transfusion, whereas Kimizuki was still weakened by the donation he had made. He tried not to hold a grudge, emphasis on tried.
It was Mikaela who was the first one to see and speak to Yuichiro after all that time.
He had stayed in the same bedroom they'd shared for the entire time. Whereas Guren and Shinya had been sentenced to some moth eaten futons they found in a closet, but Yoichi valiantly gave up his spot on the pull out bed for the injured Shinya to have a better sleep.
In the morning, around 9 am, Mikaela awoke to groaning next to him. He turned, and saw Yuichiro stirring. This piqued his attention immediately, and the blond sat up quick as a bullet.
"Yuu?" He gasped.
Mikaela reached out, and swept the hair out of his face, unsure what to do after all that time apart.
Something strange about that pair, it seems they were always destined to separate, or to be separated. They are never allowed to be together for long, before something happens.
The boy fluttered his eyes open. They were hazy and unfocused, but he was alive.
"Hey...Mika."
Yuichiro was alive.
Mikaela gasped and held a hand to his mouth, tears welling in his eyes.
"Yuu-Chan!" He exclaimed and lifted the boy into a tight hug, he thought nothing of how easily he lifted the boy, nor how bony his body was, there was only pure joy from seeing him again, "Oh Yuu-Chan, I don't even know what to say I- you're here...I'm so glad you're here, and you're alive," His words were clumsy and breathless, he had his arms wrapped tightly around his friend, his face burrowed deep into the crevice between his neck and shoulder.
