~Gooey chocolate had me absolutely melting as soon as it hit my tongue, and I quickly stuffed the rest of the cookie into my mouth with unrestrained enthusiasm. Caitlyn was watching me with an amused look, her dark eyes impossibly soft. I scarfed down another cookie before allowing myself to slow, taking in a breath.
"Sorry," I mumbled, feeling sheepish. She only giggled. Another cookie was pressed into my palm.
"Don't be," Caitlyn reassured, tilting her head and grinning lightly. "I know they're good. I baked them myself, after all."
My eyes went wide as saucers, crumbs dusting my cheek. "Really?" I gaped once I had managed to swallow. She nodded happily, reaching a hand up to my face. I tensed, face hot, forcing myself to stay still as Caitlyn's fingertips brushed the cookie remnants from my skin.
She lingered there, breath warm against my chin and fingers blazing on my bottom lip. I stopped breathing for a moment, just watching her as her eyes seemed to trace slowly over my soul, taking all of me in.
I wondered what she saw when she looked at me. When she looked me right into my eyes and stared me down, cheeks rosey and hands gentle on my face.
A low sigh escaped my mouth when her thumb brushed over my pulse, and her gaze darted up to it, curious and dark.
I could only see her by the dim light of a small flame in the fireplace. Her skin glowed, giving her an angelic silouhette. Embers flicked over her cheek, her neck, her hair. I swallowed. My ears burned.
My chin was suddenly held between her pointer finger and thumb, and I swore I choked on my own tongue as the blush spread down to my neck. Caitlyn gave an almost cruel smile, lips pink and curled and tempting.
She shifted closer, her hand on my thigh. My fingers shook as I struggled to know where to place my own, and she guided one to her hip before replacing her own in its rightful spot. My head was dizzy with the rush of blood and hormones and pure want, and there was a quiet moment before she tipped my chin and pressed her lips against mine.
I melted against her immediately, a muffled noise escaping my throat. She seemed emboldened, pressing even closer, a leg thrown over my lap as she straddled my waist and looped an arm behind my neck to kiss me deeper. My heart was bursting in my chest, and I barely managed to scrape together enough brain cells to hold onto her waist, my bandaged fingers bunching in the fabric of her short nightgown.
I kissed her hard, my mouth falling open for her tongue to dart in. She was quick and snake-like, devouring me whole like a starved man given a full meal. I knew the feeling, and a quiet moan bubbles up in my chest when she snatched my tongue with her teeth, sucking slowly at it.
A warmth pooled in my belly as Caitlyn slid her fingers through my hair and gripped it to tug my head back, and I gasped when she moved down, her lips trailing down my neck. "C-Caitlyn," I stuttered out, ears on fire and skin blazing where she kissed it.
A low whisper. "Yes, Violet?"
I had no plan, no response; only a soft groan in the back of my throat. She grinned, mouthing at the junction between my neck and shoulder. A canine scraped the sensitive skin there, and I was about to give in to the pulsing in my stomach when she suddenly pulled away, getting off of me and offering a slender hand.
"Come on, then, wouldn't want to be caught down here by my parents when they return home."
I gaped at her, the epitome of hot and bothered. Caitlyn only gave a short little laugh and pulled me up to my feet with surprising strength, and I followed behind her obediently in a useless lesbian haze as she tugged me along.
