~The color pink was a
Dazzling valley of wildflowers to make up Vi's hair, with lighter and softer colors blooming down the canvas as I happily painted. There was her face, with hints of a smile, and her eyes, hidden blues among the petals. Vines wrapped leisurely around her chest, her shoulders, her neck, with small crystalline leaves adorning the violets and peonies pressed into her clothing.

I'd never had so much fun with art before today.

"Caitlyn, this is beautiful!" My father appeared over my shoulder, his face beaming as he looked over the painting in front of me. He pressed a loving kiss to my forehead. "I'm proud of you sweetheart, it took me forever to get to this level."

I smiled back at him, heart happy at the praise. I had captured the soft side of Vi's energy perfectly on a canvas with nothing but paint and a brush. It felt like magic.

"Caitlyn, are you ready to lea- what in Runeterra is this!?" My mother suddenly appeared in the doorway of Father's studio, her face outraged. "Caitlyn, we're supposed to be at a Councilor Training Meeting in ten minutes, what are you doing?"

I jumped, startled. "I, um-"

"Don't tell me you forgot?"

My father suddenly cleared his throat and stood from his chair, taking my mother's hand gently and leading her out of the studio. "Cassandra, dear, Caitlyn was just helping me with a project, and we got a bit carried away..." Their voices faded, and I watched after them, confused and bewildered. I didn't remember a single thing about there being a meeting I had to attend with my mother today.
