USS Voyager Adventures Azur lane

Chapter 17

After the sudden kiss from Enterprise, Voyager's mind was blanked out and without thinking she ran towards the turbo lift and entered it. She was still in a daze when she realized that she had sub-consciously reached astrometric lab. The lab did not exist when she was built but after getting lost in the Delta quadrant and with the help of a peculiar crew member, this room was built from scratch. The main purpose of this room was to help Voyager reach home faster by charting a course based on detailed maps. Now this room which was once the main morale booster for her crew is now a room filled with memories. Voyager entered the room and locked the doors. She needed time to think and calm down. 

Meanwhile Enterprise and EE were on deck 8 moving towards astrometric lab.

Enterprise: What's an astrometric lab??

EE: To put it in simple terms it's like a map room but instead of land and ocean, it's a map of space. Though it's much more complicated than that. But it is surprising none the less.

Enterprise: What is?

EE: Well according to Starfleet shipyard documents, the intrepid class was not built with this room. Guess the crew had to build it on their own.

Enterprise: But wouldn't it be a waste of resources to just build a map room?

EE: Like I said it's more sophisticated than that I think that big sis's crew built it so that they can accurately plot their course. You see big sis is a long range science vessel not a exploration ship so she wasn't equipped. 

Enterprise: Then this can explain the other modifications too.

EE: What are you talking about??

Enterprise: Wait didn't you see the exterior of Voyager when you were coming on the shuttle.

EE: Huh? NO? I think I passed out just after boarding big sis's shuttle. Why? What happened to the exterior?

Enterprise: Weeel how to say this. Your big sis's crew made some modifications to the exterior?

EE: Why does it feel like there was a question mark at the end? Hmmm. No matter I will just ask the computer.

EE went to the nearby display and asked the computer to show the exterior.

EE: Computer access design schematics of the current ship and display it.

What she saw almost made her faint.

EE: What on earth is this?? This is overkill even by my a battleship's standard. Why are there so many torpedo banks, phaser arrays and what is up with this armor? Hmm what's this?  Why are these  two torpedo tubes different? Computer access torpedo blueprint and display.

Computer: Access denied. Level 4 clearance required.

EE: Level 4 ? Why? It should be only around Level 3.

Enterprise: Umm shouldn't weapons have strict security? 

EE: You see Starfleet security is a bit different. Weapons are usually Level 2 or 3 which gives access to senior crew and respective teams. But a Level 4 is captain and commanders only. Only the ships command codes and classified secrets are at this level. I wonder why these two tubes in particular are Level 4. No matter I will ask big sis later.

Both of them had arrived in front of the astrometric lab  but the doors were not opening. Seeing that they were locked EE tired calling out to Voyager.

EE: Big sis are you there? Please open the door.

Voyager: .......

EE: We know you are there big sis. Please open the door. Enterprise wants to talk to you.

Seeing that there was no response EE started glaring at her supposed grandmother again.

EE: It's your fault big sis is not answering me. This is your problem you solve it. I am going to go around big sis's ship to see what other changes are there.

Enterprise was abandoned by her grand daughter outside the door. Not knowing what to do she started thinking about what to tell Voyager. She had already confessed her feelings but then she ruined it by kissing her without even realizing it wasn't a dream. She started worrying about Voyager's reaction but first she had to talk to her.

Enterprise: Voyager it's me. I am sorry about what happened. I did not realize that it was not a dream. Please talk to me. It's fine if you reject me but please talk to me.

There no response but Enterprise decided to wait outside patiently hoping that Voyager would eventually talk to her and surprisingly within ten minutes the doors opened. Enterprise peeked inside to see Voyager sitting on a chair in the middle of the room hugging her legs and staring at a screen filled with different planets. To Enterprise she looked like a small child who was sulking after her parents denied giving her a treat. She couldn't help but smile.

Voyager: Why are you smiling you idiot? 

Enterprise: It's nothing. You just looked cute sitting like that sulking.

Voyager: I hate you. You took my first kiss so don't talk to me.

Enterprise found this extremely cute and hugged Voyager.

Voyager: Wha-at are you doing? Stop hugging me.

Enterprise: Nope.

Voyager: You! you! I don't want to talk to you.

Enterprise: Do you hate me now?

Voyager: Yes. So go away.

Enterprise: But I like you. What should I do?

Voyager: Why?

Enterprise: Why what??

Voyager: Why do you like me? 

Enterprise: Do I need a reason? Now I can also take responsibility for earlier.

Voyager: How do you plan on taking responsibility?

Enterprise: By taking care of you as your wife.

Voyager: "blushing" Wh-whose wife?

Voyager had been thinking about this ever since she entered the room and locked the doors. As a soul she had could see every part of the ship. She had seen her fair share of her crew falling in love and breaking up. She knew hoe relationships worked. But she never imagined she would be the one to experience it. He thoughts were directed towards Enterprise. She was beautiful, strong willed, powerful in this era and had a good personality. Voyager even considered a very good friends as she was the one Voyager spent most of her time with. She was also one of the first people to board Voyager's ship. Voyager realized that though she was unsure about this relationship, she wasn't against the idea of trying it. So when Enterprise came to talk to her she made up her mind to give it a try.

Enterprise: Yours of course.

Voyager: I don't know about wife but I am willing to be in a relationship with you.

Enterprise blanked out and couldn't process what she heard. It too her a minute to reboot and when she realized what happened she was happily squeezing the life out of Voyager.

Voyager: Let me go you idiot. I still hate you for kissing me in your sleep.

Enterprise: Sorry how about I kiss you now that I am awake?

Voyager: You idiot. You were so sensible what happened to you?

Enterprise: I am so happy that you accepted. I was so worried that I couldn't sleep properly.

Voyager: "snorts" Says the girl who was kissing me while sleeping peacefully.

Enterprise: Anyways we better go find EE she said she had few questions about two torpedo tube which had a Level 4 clearance.

Voyager: What why was she searching for that? That's not something anyone should know. Let's go find her we have a lot to discuss.
