USS Voyager Adventures Azur lane

Chapter 13

Voyager after waking up from a nap began preparation for her outing to space with Enterprise and for some reason even, she did not know she was feeling excited. This would be her first time in space after coming to this world. She was running a full ship wide systems diagnostic to make sure everything was within operating conditions. While doing that the computer alerted her to an incoming transmission from Enterprise. She teleported Enterprise to the bridge directly.

Voyager: Good morning, Enterprise. Ready for your first trip to space?

Enterprise: Good morning and yes, I am both excited and nervous. 

Voyager: Don't be if there is anything wrong, I can teleport you directly to the base. 

Enterprise: What about you? You can't teleport yourself.

Voyager:  Well, I have survived many incidents and battles so no need to worry. I can protect myself. Now, enough of that if you are ready, we can leave now.

Enterprise: Yep, I am ready as I will ever be. Let's do this before my nervousness gets the better of me.

Voyager: Fine. First let's travel a bit away from the base so that no one can see us.

Voyager then guided the ship away from the base so as to not attract attention while climbing. Once far enough she decided to increase the altitude gradually so as to not frighten the already nervous Enterprise. She could have shot up at almost vertical angle but chose not to. She sat on the captain's chair while she made Enterprise sit in the first officer's chair.

Enterprise: Your chairs are very comfortable. I don't think I can sit in any other chair once I am used to this.

Voyager: Hahaha. Are the chairs that comfortable? 

Enterprise: Seriously speaking yes. I now wonder how your beds are if the chairs are this comfortable.

Voyager: "Sigh" Enough about that we are about to reach space so keep looking at the screen.

The main view screen which had been on from the beginning showed the blue sky slowly turning black and after some time, it became completely black. Enterprise was mesmerized by the view and Voyager was running systems check on her warp drive.

Voyager: Okay let's go on a tour of this solar system. First up the moon. Computer set a course for the moon maximum impulse.

The ship accelerated and within a few minutes arrived at the moons orbit. Once they entered orbit Voyager turned towards Enterprise who was ogling at the screen.

Voyager: So how is the moon up close?

Enterprise: Its beautiful. Never thought I would see the moon like this in my life.

Voyager decided to give a brief description like the distance from their planet and characteristics of the moon. After spending some time Voyager engaged her warp drive and travelled to nearest planet. She proceeded with the same steps of entering orbit, giving a brief description and staying there until Enterprise was satisfied. On the other hand, Voyager was running her sensors at full power in order to gather as much data about each planet and the solar system to store in her data banks for future use. This process continued until all the planets in the solar system were covered. Of course, in between they had meals and snacks in the mess hall while talking about stories from each other's universe. Finally, after almost a day after they had left from Azur Lane base, they had turned back and were currently orbiting their planet.

Voyager: So how the trip. Did you enjoy your first time in space?

Enterprise: Oh yes!!! It was very beautiful and interesting. I can't thank you enough.

Voyager: "smiling" Think nothing of it. It was a useful trip for me too gathering data of this planet and system to give to Starfleet once I meet them again.

Hearing that Enterprise's fear came back. The fear of Voyager going back to her universe and leaving her alone. Nervously, Enterprise started probing Voyager.

Enterprise: So ummm. Have you found a way to go back to your universe?

Voyager: "sigh" Not yet. You see while travelling space is easy, the technology to travel across the universe has not yet been developed. There are only theories but nothing working yet. I have my computer running various simulations with the data I have acquired over my journey, but nothing is working. I still have my experimental drive, but I am reluctant to use it as the last time I did I ended up here.

Enterprise was glad that she had not yet found a way back home but, she immediately felt guilty for thinking selfishly. But for the time being, her fear of Voyager disappearing was temporarily subsided.  She also decided to talk about the other thing, the main reason she had asked Voyager for a trip to space.

Enterprise: So-so there was something I wanted to ask you.

Voyager: Hmmm. What is it?

Enterprise: "stammering" Y-you se-see I-I have l-liked y-you for so-some time n-now. S-so I was h-hoping y-you would go out w-with meeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

Enterprise screamed the last part out with a face blood red by blushing. Voyager on the other hand was completely blanked. Her face looked like every single chip in her circuitry burnt out. Her brain started processing the information at warp speed and finally understood what Enterprise asked her. Unfortunately, Voyager's mouth was lagging behind her brain, and she suddenly shouted.

Voyager: "blushing" Whaaaaaat????? 

Enterprise: I said I liked you and wanted you to go out with me.

Voyager: Bu-but why me? Since when?

Enterprise: Since long back when you suddenly appeared saved our base, I was attracted to you. After spending some time and getting to know you I wanted to become serious. So, what is your answer? I know this is a bit sudden but please think about it. It's fine if your reject me but please tell me why if you do so.

Voyager: Wh-why are you directly assuming things. Hnnnnn give me some time I will respond within tomorrow. Now if you excuse me, I have to think about my life.

Saying that Voyager walked off the bridge and into the captain's ready room. Enterprise who was left behind decided to go grab a drink and secretly relived that she was not outright rejected.
