Idiots ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ ━ 14. A Few Good Men
Everything was slowly going back to normal. Well kinda vampires and witches still existed and whatever the hell else was out there. But Mystic Falls was back to its normal cheerful form.
After the twins birthday ended Bonnie went back out of town with her family to resume her grieving. Caroline was about to leave in a couple of days to go visit her dad and his boyfriend.
Tyler was on some weekend football trip which Preston followed right after him. Leaving person alone for the first time in seven months—now all he had to entertain him was Stefan and Damon.
And Elena, plus Chase and his uncle that he hadn't seen since the man had moved into his new apartment down the road from them but it wasn't like he was checking for him.
Speaking of which Elena was looking for her birth mom. Which in Percy's opinion was a lost case because if the woman wanted you she'd have you clearly she didn't but he wasn't going to be insensitive because he knew first hand how that felt.
He sat on the couch flipping through one of his grimoires with Elena and Jenna sitting next to him discussing something about Elena's birth mom.
"Your dad kept everything from his medical practice—records, logs, old appointment books." Jenna pulls an old journal from a bucket full of things before she opened it showing a page to Elena.
"I found an entry from the night you were born patient and a birth date. Isobel Peterson."
Elena looked at her skeptically. "Do you think that's her real name?" She questioned.
"Pregnant teenage runaway? Probably not. First name, maybe. But where'd she get Peterson? Classmate? Best friend? So I binged it." Jenna unfolds her laptop before searching it up on the web.
"I searched for all the Petersons in this area born the same year as Isobel, found 3--2 men and a woman, Trudie, who lived in Grove Hill, Virginia."
"That's not far from here." Elena concluded looking at Jenna with a hopeful expression.
"Well watch this." Typing something on the keyboard Jenna pulls up an image of Elena's birth mom.
"Isobel. She was a cheerleader." Looking at the picture Elena begins smiling.
"Trudie still lives there." Jenna hands Elena a paper with the address written on it. "This is her address."
"What about Isobel?"
"I couldn't find anything about her." Jenna informed her. Elena frowned being disheartened by this news and she sits down next to Jenna.
