Tanjiro POV

I was surrounded by a horrible scene, my family murdered.

My mother defiled, my siblings mutilated.

Why.

Why did I leave to sell charcoal.

Why did I not stay and protect them.

I looked around and I saw something was wrong.....

Nezuko wasn't there.

I ran around my house looking for her body, or any sign that she was there.

She wasn't.

I looked over towards where the tracks came from.

I had to save my sister.

She is the one person I have to save.

I stepped around my dead family.....but I felt an emotion I couldn't explain.

I opened a case and picked up the Hinokami kagura sword.

It was a sword with smaller blades on the side. I had a special one made incase of intruders......but it was useless if I couldn't be there go use it.

I stood up covered in blood.

I didn't want to be seen. I didn't want them to see my face as I cut them down, so I put on the Hinokami Kagura mask.

I entered into my selfless state father taught me all those years ago.

I sprinted through the woods as fast as I could.

I would save my sister no matter what.

After about 30 minutes I found the group of people.

I saw a large campsite with a hundred men walking around throughout it.

I held the sword in my hand tightly.

I walked down with a sick determination.

I will kill them all.

I stood outside the main tent with bloodlust in my eyes.

I had a rage I couldn't explain. I could only see rage and red.

A man drunkenly approached me from behind.

"H...Hey kid. Wh...."

I twisted around and cut his throat.

I watched his body fall on the ground.

I turned back around and entered the tent.

"...and the little one tried running, HA! She kept calling for her brother. It was funny because we killed the oldest one first. But we kept one, she is a virgin so we'll have to see who gets her first. It was a.......who are you?"

I held the sword in my hand even tighter.

"You killed my family." I said slowly.

The man chuckled as the others followed suit.

"So what. You are a kid, what do you expect to do against us?" He said pulling out a sword.

The rest of his men pulled out their weapons smiling.

"I am going to kill you all."
