In a distant land

Recollection

I woke up with a parched throat , messed up hair , smeared mascara and wrinkled jumpsuit .
I can't believe I slept on my first date .
He probably hates me .

I look around and go to Lena's room she was getting ready to go somewhere .

She had done deadlocks on her head which made her even prettier . She was putting on makeup .

"You going somewhere? " I asked picking up the water pitcher .

"Yes , some sightseeing for my vlog" she had a vlog !

"You make vlogs ? Since when ?"

"I only started this year , and I've gained quite a good number of followers . And I haven't been consisted with my videos so I have to work on it"

"I need to subscribe you now . By the way did I came asleep last night ?"

"Yes , he carried you all the way to the inn , bridal style". She giggled.

"Goodness , I wanted to have fun , I mean I had like alot Lena. But I slept" I was rubbing my hair aggressively.

"It's okay, lady . He would never hate you . The way he looks at you is as if you're the only person he's ever loved ".

"I feel so special to have him . But I want to do something for him like how he took me on a date ."

"Why don't you take him on a date now?" I think I love this idea because I have the best place in my mind right now.

I hug Lena Thanking her and run to the bath .

Before hopping in the bath I left a message for honeybun.

Vivian : Meet me at 12 outside the inn .

He was probably sleeping since he was offline and exhausted after making my night so special.

I wore a sundress today giving all the summer vibes and curled my hairs like Lena did yesteday .

There was an hour left before the clock strikes 12 and he still hasn't seen the message .

I have heard of a boy called "Kim yuan" , I've seen him alot hanging out with Haneul . Lena was tying her shoes, I asked .

"Do you have Kim Yuan's number ?"

"Nope , why would I have a seniors number" I sighed."Did something happen ?"

"Hanuel isn't picking up because he switched off his phone . I guess I'll have to wait till he wakes up".

Lena gives me a rueful smile before taking off .

And after 30 minutes I heard and ping , I nearly slipped on the mop while trying to retrieve my phone from the dressing table .

Haneul : Roger That !

He also send an emoji doing salute . How cute !

I went outside .

Today it was sunny and pleasent enough that I don't sweat like a pig unless I do cardio .

In just 2 minutes I found my honey bun making an entrance , with his cross pericings hanging on his right ear . He wore a black shirt and black pants  .

"Where are you taking me ?" He asked giving me a kiss on the cheek .

"It's a secret" . I put a finger to my Lips and he was staring at my lips .

With a snap of my finger I bring him back to reality .

I had rented a car which was in really good condition.

"I am gonna drive , honeybun" I tell him while taking my seat .

"Just don't kill me , love" How can he underestimate my driving skills .

I was still shaking after the Rollercoaster ride while Haneul went for the second time .

I went to order some slushy for myself and him and I couldn't believe myself who I saw in the queue .

Like what could he be doing here .

He'll probably insult me again . So I decide to stand really quite actually squeezing myself between two bulky guys .

There was a distance of 5 people between me and him .
The queue wasn't long so my turn came quickly . While Iseul had gone off with his order somewhere .

I ordered a watermelon slushy for Haneul and a mermaid slushy for myself. Although mermaid slushy was meant for kids I couldn't resist those bright colors.

My honeybun was sitting on a bench waiting for me .

"How was the ride ,honeybun ?"

"Exhilarating" .

I gave him the slushy . "You should've ordered for me the same one as yours it looks quite..... vibrant" .

"It's actually from the kids menu" he chuckled .

"You're still a kid , huh ?" I ignored his question , I don't wanna make it clear to him that I do have a childish side.

"So , how was my surprise date ?" I hope with my fingers crossed that he liked it .

"Amazing , It's after so long I enjoyed the rides and the mini burgers . Last time I ate so much that I threw up."

"Does that mean you've come before?" And I thought it was his first time in Disneyland.

"Yes , when I was 12 I came with my family . We barely hung out as a family but it was my older brother's birthday so we came here japan . I was enjoying the trip more than anyone but some tragedy took place after we were just about to leave" . I wonder what tragedy it was I wasn't trying to be nosy but I couldn't resist myself, I hate violating privacy yet I spoke .

"If it's okay can you tell me what happened ?" .

"I was shot in the leg" i gasped in horror , he glanced at his thigh , which was probably where he was shot "The
sniper was sent to shoot my dad who you know is a mafia so he's lost count of his enemies and took the risk to come out and put his family in danger ."

It scares me to my soul to think what would've happened if it was Haneul's chest or some vital organ . Instead of his leg or what if he would've died from bloodloss if immediate medical help couldn't reach him .

Hanuel must've noticed how I'm frantic with worry , he cupped my cheeks and his lips brushed against mine .

"Don't look so panicky" he kisses my temple "I'm right infront of you" .

"I can't help , but it chills my blood . I don't think so I can imagine a world without you" .
His gaze was so soft and serene his eyes looking in my soul reading all my thoughts while his thumb caressed my cheek .

I was so grateful for the time I'm able to spend with him because I was unfolding the parts of his no one was aware of.

I get up and drag him to a store .

"Don't tell me we're getting matching shirts". He whined.

"We actually are"

I bought alot of things . The backseat of the car was loaded .

"Have you decided what you wanna do in future?" It was a random question which might lead to dig deeper about about him .

"I haven't given it much thought , A chef sounds good though" He would look Sexy as a chef . Ugh . What am I thinking .

"You have remarkable cooking skills . After the stew I think you were born to be one , stew is something you never ate yet you achieved the same consistency and flavour like Nanna's" .

"You make it sound like I brought stars and moon for you ."

"To me food is much more lovelier than moon and stars." I winked at him . And ofcourse his company .
