3 months later,
It was the first night of their two night fall production. It was the night of their mixed broadway musicals, where Bucky and Sydney were the main leads most of the night. The school had the biggest ticket sale for this night.
The next night, James Sr and his wife Allison sat near the front row with James and Winnie right behind them. Bennett was dragged to the show since he was grounded again for another DUI, Timothy and Delaney as well as the rest of Sydney's family was in attendance.
Mrs Burke walked out stage as everyone clapped.
"Thank you and good evening, tonight I have 5 talented students that are performing. And first up is a student that has an amazing gift. This young man is James Barnes IV, and I'm sure he is going to shock you all with his talent." Mrs Burke said then she walked off stage.
The lights dimmed more, and the curtains opened as the beginning notes of "Crash and Burn" by Savage Garden began to play, then he began to sing. The next song he did was "Slow Hands." by Niall Horan.
Then he switched it up, and went into "Jailhouse Rock", "Heartbreak Hotel", "Are You Lonesome Tonight", "Baby Let's Playhouse", "Blue Suede Shoes", "That's All Right." "I Can't Stop Loving You" "Can't Help Falling In Love" and "All Shook Up" "Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear" and lastly "Suspicious Minds" all by Elvis Presley.
Bennett rolled his eyes, and whispered "God I hate this crap" remembering Elvis played alot more at their house after Allison put Bucky in lessons. James leaned up to his mother, "I sense grandma's influence again." He said
"He called me when he got picked and said he needed my help." She whispered
Allison was smiling as she had happy tears fall, then he went into "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith, "Then There's You" by Charlie Puth. He sang "Say You Won"t Let Go and Falling Like The Stars" by James Arthur.
"I Belong To You and Chariot" by Jacob Lee, and he did a bunch of Ed Sheeran songs, and he closed the show the show with "Just The Way You Are." By Bruno Mars.
After Bucky was done he got a standing ovation then it was Meagan's turn, then Logan's turn and Natasha's turn. Mrs Burke moved Sydney to be the last act.
"Our last student, came in last year and blew us all away with her pipes. She can sing she can dance and that student is Sydney Montgomery." Mrs Burke said
The curtains opened as the beginning notes to "The Right Kind of Wrong," by LeAnn Rhimes began to play. Sydney was decked out in red and black, she had ordered herself special red ear pieces, and had her bedazzled microphone. After she finished that song she went into, "Can't Fight The Moonlight,", "I Need You", "Purple Rain", "The Story," "How Do I Live" all by LeAnn Rhimes too.
"Georgia Peaches, and Like My Mother Does" by Lauren Alaina, "I Will Always Love You" Gabby Barrett's Version, "Hold My Hand" by Lady Gaga, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by Katherine McPhee, "Never Enough" by Loren Allred.
She did a bunch of Brennley Brown songs she covered on the voice, "Stupid Boy", "Suds in The Bucket," and "Anyway".
She closed her show, with her mom's favorite song "Love Can Build A Bridge" by The Judds.
She got a standing ovation, when they met their parents they both got flowers. Bucky kissed her "You did amazing baby." He said
"Me? What about you sugar bear? You are the amazing one going low and high all the time." she said
"And you have big pipes babe." He said
"Come on we are going to Olive Garden to celebrate." James said
They all went out to their cars, and met at Olive Garden.
