1 month later,
All freshmen musical theatre kids went to the auditorium after school. They were hosting Grease I auditions.
"Okay, let's start with Sandy." Mrs Hanson said
Other blonde girls tried the song "Hopelessly Devoted." but the drama and choir teachers weren't impressed.
"Sydney Montgomery." The choir teacher said
She stepped up on the stage, and stood at the microphone. She began to sang the song, everyone went quiet while her cousins smirked. Bucky felt like he couldn't breathe watching her work the stage.
"My God.." he whispered
"Ladies and Gents we found our Sandy. Congratulations Sydney." Mrs Burke said
"Thank you." She said
"Up next Danny Zuko." Mrs Hanson said
They had several boys try out before it was Bucky's turn. The try out song for Danny was "Sandy".
"Bucky Barnes." Mrs Burke said
He walked up to the microphone, and began to sing the song. Sydney smiled as she watched him. He had everyone smiling as he sang the song, even hitting some of the higher notes of the song that the others couldn't hit.
"You're Danny. But stay right there. Sydney come here." Mrs Burke said
She walked up on the stage, she got them both hooked up to headsets that were in nude colors so you couldn't really see them.
"Okay, let's see how you two sound on these next two songs." Mrs Burke said
You're The Want I Want" began to play. They sang their parts, and danced a little. The next song they had them perform was "Summer Nights."
Natasha got Rizzo, Clint was Kineckie, Wanda was Frenchie. The rest of the crew was either a pink lady or a t-bird. While they were waiting for their parents, Bucky came over to Sydney.
"You were incredible Syd. You blew me away, I haven't had a lead lady be as good as you." He said
She swallowed hard, "Thank you." She said as she looked down.
He gently lifted her chin, "I'm glad you are my Sandy." He said
She smiled and blushed, both their dads pulled in.
"Hey didn't I just get rid of you." James said to Timothy.
"You know you could never get rid of me." Timothy said as they walked up the parking lot.
"Hey kiddos." James said
"Hey dad! I'm Danny Zuko and this amazing girl is my Sandy." Bucky said
"Alright that's my girl!" Timothy said
"And look dad the windows are still entact." She said
"They must of had your mic down low." Timothy said as they all started to walk to their cars.
