Two weeks later,
"Welcome to Drama 101 freshmen." Mrs Hanson said as everyone took a seat.
She was standing on the stage using a headset microphone as she walked and talked. Bucky was sitting next to Sydney. Once Mrs Hanson was done with her lecture she passed out papers for them to fill out and for their parents to fill out.
"Hi, you are new." Bucky said
"Yeah, I just moved here officially over the summer. I'm Sydney Montgomery." she said
"Bucky, well my real name is James. But everyone calls me Bucky except my family. What do you mean officially?" He said
"My parents were divorced. My mom got full custody of me and my little sister, and we moved to Georgia. But she passed away over the summer." She said
"Montgomery, your mom was Vanessa? My parents went to her funeral they know your parents. Dad talks about the good ol' days with your dad and my friends' dads all the time." He said
"Who are your parents?" She said
"Dr James Barnes III and Winnie Barnes." He said
"I think I met them at the funeral, it was a blur of a day." She said
"Understandable." He said with a smile.
After second period was over, they found out they had more classes. Soon enough the jitters they both had were gone.
