2 months later,
It was the night that the freshmen class was performing Grease. They kicked off broadway week for the musical theater department. All friends and family were settled into their seats as the lights went down.
"Grease" by Frankie Valli began to play as a projector screen came down. Across the screen came the opening credits, with pictures of who was who. When it was over, the play began.
All night Bennett rolled his eyes, as his family danced in their seats and beamed with pride. James absolutely loved watching his son light up on stage, especially doing the Grease Lightening performance.
Sydney blew everyone away during her solo, and her family was beaming as well. But they all loved watching them perform "You're The One I Want." They even kept the reveal a secret from Bucky so the reaction would be more real. But he was able to keep himself in check seeing his girl like that.
After the performance was over, Timothy gave Sydney flowers and so did her grandfathers.
"You all did amazing!" Winnie said as she hugged them both.
"Proud of both of you!" Delaney said
"This calls for CheeseCake Factory for dinner let's go!" James said
As everyone walked away Bucky kissed Sydney.
"Mmm Bucky.." she whispered
"You were amazing tonight." He whispered
"So were you sugar bear." She said
They ran to catch up to their parents and had a great rest of the night.
