Chapter 1 : Can't Help Myself (pt.1)

10:21 a.m MarshCorp Building, floor 12

"Mo-Dani! Honey"A tall man with a black suit called.

"Yes dad?"The girl quickly tied the lace of her shoes and went to her father's office.

"My Mo-Dani, your here."

"Yeah, need anything pops?"

"Ah.. Yes, Dani, I introduce you Kang Haerin. Your new personal assistant!"Said the tall man and moved to the side revealing a short, cat-eyed girl wearing an oversized hoodie, black slacks and a simple cap.

"What the heck."Danielle said with a disgusted face.

"Goodmorning to you too, Ms. Marsh"The girl politely replied and bowed.

"Dad."Danielle retorted and stared at her nervous father.

"Shes...perfect!"She grinned. Her father sighed in relief and wiped his sweaty forehead.

"Alright, Ms.Kang please take care of my Mo-Dani while I'm gone, I'm going to the feefteenth floor for a meeting."The tall man smiled at Haerin and patted her shoulder, then he got out of the office and slid the door close.

"Hmm..Haerin, Right?"Danielle slowly walked towards her father's glass desk.

" Yes, Ms.Marsh", "You can call me Danielle or Dani, just not 'Ms.' plus my surname."The girl chuckled and put her feet up the glass desk.

"Well, That's very immature of you Dani."
Haerin watched her and put her cap on the coffee table infront of the sofa and sat down.

Her boss scoffed."And it's also immature of you to sit on my sofa without asking Hmm.. ?"She smiled at her devilishly.

"Oh my bad, May I sit here, Dani!?"The cat-eyed girl asked politely.

"Ofcourse Kang.", "Thank you."She thanked her boss and gave her a small grin.

A couple of minutes later.

'BANG!'

"Whats up fuckers!"A girl slid the glass sliding door aggressively, making aloud bang on the wall.

"Lisa! How many times do I have to tell you that the doors are fragile!"Danielle face palmed in annoyance.

"I thought you said anti fragile."Lisa chuckled, and Antifragile by Le Sserafim started playing.

"Ugh! Rose trun that off it's so loud!", "Oops sorry."

The girl sitting on the sofa chuckled, quietly watching the three of them.

"Woahh.. Who's this cute almond-eyed girl?"Lisa walked towards the girl and poked her cheeks repeatedly."Uh, please stop you're making me uncomfortable."She stared at Lisa.

"Who cares-", "I care, now stop poking her, she already said she's uncomfortable.
"Danielle pulled the girl's hand away.

" Aw man! Her cheeks were so soft!"Lisa pouted.

"Brah, I think that's her girlfriend!"Rose gasped in aussie.

"Bitch I just met her a few minutes ago."

"That's what you say before you make ou-"

"Shushh."Danielle covered Rose's mouth.

"What are you two doing here anyway?"

"Shyt! I almost forgot! Your father asked for this, I don't know why but..."Lisa walked towards Danielle and handed her a blue and white usb.

"Whats this for?"Danielle's eyes grew wide as she saw the text at the bottom of the usb.
"Is this fucking JeansNews' album??"She retorted and stared at Lisa.

"Well I guess so-", "Well that's all we came here for, Bye Mo-Dani!"Rose blurted out and pulled Lisa's shirt." Bye-bye Dani!"The girl waved at Danielle and slid closed the door shut.

"I didn't know you were into JeansNews' songs?"Said the girl sitting on the sofa.

"You don't because I'm not into they're songs."Danielle lied.She went back to her father's desk and pulled out her laptop from her bag.

"What are you doing?"Haerin stood up and walked towards Danielle."Im gonna watch a movie."Her boss replied coldly and put the usb on the drawer."Can I watch too?"

"No."

"Go make me a coffee."She replied coldly again while typing on her laptop.

" You want me to go down on eleven floors? It's so far from here, we're at like the twelfth floor."Haerin snobbed.

Her boss looked up at her and back down on her laptop."The kitchen is over there."She pointed somewhere while still typing on her laptop.

"Oh I.."Haerin silently went to the kitchen, she was dumbfounded.

" Wow Dani! You're kitchen here is huge!"

"I know, now go on, make me a coffee don't make me wait much longer."Haerin paused and rolled her eyes .So demanding. She thought.

"How much sugar should I put?"Haerin stopped in time before she could drop the spoonful of sugar.

"1 and ½ spoons of sugar."
