Chapter 6 : Deal

7:02 a.m, Monday, Marsh Residence

Danielle's POV

I was lying on the sofa in the living room while watching TV. I yawned and looked a round the house. "Kai!" I shouted my butler's stupid name and sat up.

"Ms.Marsh, do you need something?"I sighed as Kai rushed to the living room, he stood and smiled infront of me.
"Where have you been these past few days??"I retorted and turned off the TV.
"Ms.Marsh.. we went to Busan a few days ago before Mr.Marsh, we had to run some errands there"Kai replied nerveously, i could tell, he's slightly shivering.

"Did he know that you left?" I asked coldly."Yes.." He replied and lowered his head. I closed my eyes and sighed. "Next time, inform me or else i'll snap at you once again, and it'll come on your paycheck." I smirked in satisfaction as i saw his shocked and dogshitted face.
"Dad said im incharge of everything he was on until he comes back here." I chuckled devilishly as i watched his worried expression, like he's about to lose his whole house.

"Noted, Ms.Marsh." Kai coldly replied to me and left the living room. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "I should really fire him one day." I chuckled. I then heard footseps and i quickly turn around from the sofa and to my surprise i saw a tired Haerin that's still in her pajamas, i smiled and ran towards her and gave her a tight hug. "Danielle!" She groaned and tried to pull off from the hug but i wouldnt let her.

"Agh! Your squeezing me!" I smiled as an idea came to my mind. I hugged her more firmly and moved my hand down her waists and rubbed it up and down, teasing her. "Hm..no.

"Come on Danielle!..."

Both our heads turned to the door as a knock was heard. I grunted and rolled my eyes, i pulled off from the hug and pecked Haerin's foredhead before going to the door.

I turned the knob and opened the door.
"Who the fuck is this now?-" I paused and my mouth opened as i saw a fimiliar and annoying face infront of me. I groaned and wiped my face.

"Ahh! hows my baby doing??"The guy threw his bags on the marble flooring of my house and ran to me and hugged me tightly, god i felt like my insides were gonna come out from my mouth.

"Jake!! let me fucking go!" I squirmed and was about to blow a punch in between his legs when he suddenly threw me to the side and ran, making me fall on my butt,

IM LITERALLY GOING TO KILL THIS BASTARD!

I gritted my teeth and rubbed my hips in irritation and hurt, i looked over to where my cousin ran and widened my eyes.

"Hey cutie, can i get your number?"
"Are you single?"
"Whats your type?"

I furrowed my brows and stood up with anger as my cousin continued to ask his ridiculous questions.

"Excuse me, what the hell are you doing here??"I pushed Jake away and stood infront of Haerin, who was surprised for some reason. Who the hell would be surprised to see this annoying bitch?

"Ah..please ignore my nuisiance cousin here...Im Jake!" He ignored my question and and rudely pushed me to the side and kept talking to Haerin, it was making my blood boil.

"Uhh, okay..."I smiled, i could see Haerin was not having it with Jake. Thank god, if she was im definately going to kill Jake.

"Danielle, can you lead me to the bathroom please?"

"Ah, dont waste your time Dani, i can take he-"

"Sure come on!"I gave a sly smile and ran towards Haerin and pulled her by the wrist and dragged her towards the bathroom upstairs, i turned my head to Jake who was dumbfounded and stuck my tounge out on him.

12:30 p.m (Author's POV)

"Haerin right? so, how old are you?"

"nineteen."

"Ah! im also 19! we can still go out since we are the same age!"

Danielle was gripping harldy on her fork while she watched the two chatting all day, she kept asking herself;

Why is he here? Repeatedly in her mind.

Haerin chuckled awkwardly and turned her gaze to Danielle who was almost about to bend her fork, she couldnt hesitate.

"Dani? you okay?"She asked with a soft tone and lightly placed her hand on Danielle's.

Danielle returned her gaze to Haerin and sighed and slowly put her fork down on the table.

"Im...fine."She relplied coldly and pulled her hand back. Haerin widened her eyes in surprise and turned to Jake who was smiling in amusement.

" Oh my? Is my Dani jealous of my handsome-ness?"Jake mockingly said and chuckled.

"Shut the hell up." Danielle gritted her teeth and stood up from her seat and looked at Haerin who was still surprised.

"Haerin-ah. Can i have a talk with Jake here?-"

"What do you mean she can sta-"

"Alone."

Jake gulped and stared at Haerin. The girl nodded at Danielle and stood up from her seat and smiled at Jake and Danielle.

"Dont worry Jake, im finished anyway." She said sarcastically and gave the guy another smile, wich made Danielle more annoyed and irritated by them.

Haerin left the two alone, wondering what they'll talk about.

"Dani..i know your jealous." Jake stood up from his seat and walked towards Danielle.

"Oh great, i thought you were stupid." Danielle rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Oh? so you admit it, huh?"Jake sneered and looked down on his cousin.

"Stay away from her."Danielle narrowed her eyes and stared sharply at Jake.
" Hm?..i just met her and you already want me to stay away from her?", "Thats right you just met her."

Jake scoffed, he shook his head and put his hands on his hips."Atleast i dont fuck her like you."The girl widened her eyes and gasped.

"Your probably going to leave her in the dump like you did with the other girls huh?" Jake clicked his tongue and ran his fingers through his hair.

"She's different." Danielle muttered.

Jake sneered and placed his hand on Danielle's shoulder and stared down at her eyes, his fingers piercing onto her shoulders, making the girl wince in pain quietly.

"Lets make a deal Dani, who ever makes her fall inlove with first, gets her, and if i make her fall for me, you can never speak, touch, sleep, see, message, or even greet her in the morning, got it? the same goes for me if i wont succeed." Jake shoved Danielle's shoulder, making her stagger back, Danielle grunted and held her shoulder.She narrowed her eyes and stared at her cousin.She sighed;

"Deal."

Jake grinned devilishly, he walked towards the door, bumping Danielle by the shoulder on the way, before he could leave her, he turned back to the girl.

"And what makes you think you'll win?"
He put his hands on the pockets of his blazer.

Danielle gulped and crossed her arms."Because i know she has the same feelings as me deep inside."She said confidently and chuckled.

"We'll see about that, Dani"
