Chapter 9 : Broken Friendship

Hanni's POV
It has been days now since me and Dani interacted. Is she busy? If she is atleast give time for me.I was sitting on a bench in my backyard swinging my legs continously while looking at them. I thought for a second.

I should speak up and confess my feelings to Dani.

I sighed. Maybe i should, what if someone else takes her from me? I cant let that happen. I'll come claim today. I stood up from the bench and went inside my house.

I went up to my room and checked my closet. I searched for some clothes to wear. A white t-shirt with a bunny imprinted on it, denim jumper, and a moss green beanie. Not too formal, im just gonna come to her house anyway.

I left my house and let my driver drive me to Danielle's house. Its pretty far away from my house because they moved in Daegu and im just in seoul. Its a hard mile from here, but no beggy, its worth the drive just to see her. As we drove, i put on my headsets and started listening to music. 'Newjeans' by newjeans. It was fire.

Minutes later we finally reached our destination. I quickly gave my driver a wave of goodbye and ran through the open gates. She's so careless, she should've locked it, but eh, i dont really care.

I rang the doorbell. Exited that my face had a big smile. Seconds later the door opened. My smile faded when i saw a girl that im unfimilliar with. I noticed she was listening to antifragile because she kept singing a part of the chorus, slightly whispering it.

"Anti ti ti ti fragile, fragile, Anti ti ti ti fragile."

That song was good too. She stopped singing and took of her headphones, looking at me she said; "Oh hey, you must be Yanni, right?" I blinked. "Who's Yanni?.."The girl was about to speak when suddenly, she got shoved to the side by someone, my face immadiately lit up when i saw the girl i was looking for. "Chaewon its Hanni."I ran towards Dani and jumped on her with a hug. She chuckled and hugged me back. "Hey Hanni, what brings you here?"I giggled and pulled of from the hug to see her face. "I wanted to visit you, duh!"I said with a big grin on my face. She teased by taking my beanie off my head. I burst in laughter and tried to take it from her as she swung it playfully, also laughing. If it wasnt for my height i shouldnt be struggling right now. Danielle was pretty tall and beautiful. Just my type.

We went in her living room and sat on the sofa. I chucked my shoes with my foot and rested on the sofa. Danielle shrugged at me and sat down on the sofa. "Put your shoes on the shoe tray Hanni." She said, i stuck out my tongue on her and laughed. She then stood up from the sofa and ran to me. Suddenly tickling me, shit, right in my tickle spot. I burst in laughter as she trailed her finger down my neck. She knows me too damn well that she even knows my tickle spot.

Saying that made it sound weird. But i dont really care. She kept tickling me until Haerin, her assistant came. I stared at Dani in confusion, she suddenly straightened up and ran to her. Weird.

"Baby!!"

She yelled while hugging Haerin. Baby? Are they dating? No, i must be delulu.

"Hey..baby."

Haerin replied. No. Are they actually dating? I stared blankly at them, confusion filled my head and, heart.

"Hey Haerin."I said coldly. Haerin gently pushed Dani to the side and smiled at me. "Hey, you must be Hanni, Dani's bestfriend?"I smiled back awkwardly and nodded. But, 'Dani'? Did Dani let her assistant call her that? I thought she only let me call her that. I think their close, no, i know their close. Their interaction is also diffrent from ours. She hugs Haerin by herself, warmly and tightly. Very diffrent. I usually hug her but Haerin? She hugs Haerin by herself?
