I'm not proud of it, but my boyfriend and I have a habit of doing some pretty dumb things together. It all started when we first met and realized we shared a love for adrenaline-pumping activities. We've done everything from cliff jumping to bungee jumping, but it's the smaller, sillier things that stick out in my mind.
One time, we decided it would be a great idea to try and make a homemade slip and slide in his backyard. We used a tarp, some dish soap, and a garden hose to create the ultimate summer activity. It started off great, but things quickly went downhill when we realized we didn't have enough soap to keep the tarp slippery. We ended up bruised and sore from repeatedly crashing into each other on the now sticky and friction-filled tarp.
Another time, we thought it would be hilarious to see how many marshmallows we could fit in our mouths at once. Spoiler alert: it wasn't many. We both ended up choking and spitting them out everywhere, and I'm pretty sure we both had marshmallow residue in our hair for days.
But perhaps the dumbest thing we've ever done together was when we decided to try and see how long we could hold our breath underwater. We were at the community pool, and I'm pretty sure the lifeguard was giving us weird looks as we repeatedly dunked our heads under the water and tried to beat each other's times. Looking back, I'm just thankful we didn't end up passing out from lack of oxygen.
Despite all the dumb things we've done, I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. My boyfriend and I are always up for trying something new and exciting, even if it ends up being a complete disaster. It's these silly moments that bond us together and make us appreciate the fun and spontaneity in life.

It's hard for me to admit, but my boyfriend Corey and I can be pretty dumb sometimes. We've been together for a few years now, and we've definitely had our fair share of silly moments.
One time, we decided to try and make our own homemade ice cream. We didn't have an ice cream maker, so we thought we could just mix some cream and sugar together and freeze it. It didn't turn out so well. It ended up being a big mess and we had to throw it all away.
Another time, we were trying to take a picture together and we couldn't figure out how to use the timer on the camera. We spent a good 20 minutes trying to get the camera set up, only to realize that we were using the wrong button to take the picture.
We also like to have dance parties in our living room, even though we both have two left feet. We'll put on some music and just dance around like fools, not caring who sees us.
But even though we do silly things together, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Corey always knows how to make me laugh and he's always up for trying something new, even if it doesn't always work out. Our dumb moments are some of my favorite memories with him.

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and my boyfriend Corey and I decided to take a hike in the nearby forest. As we walked, we came across a large puddle of muddy water. Without thinking, we both jumped right into it, splashing mud all over ourselves.
Later that day, we went to a restaurant for dinner. As we were waiting for our food, we started playing a game of "I Spy". Corey pointed to something across the room and said, "I spy with my little eye something that is red." I looked around the room and saw nothing but white and beige walls. I gave up and asked him what it was. He pointed to the ketchup bottle on our table.
Another time, we decided to try making sushi at home. We bought all the ingredients and started preparing the rice. However, we forgot to wash the rice before cooking it and ended up with a clumpy mess. We tried salvaging it by adding more water, but that only made it worse. We ended up ordering takeout instead.
