I was walking along the riverbank when I saw her. Y/N was sitting on a rock, her head in her hands and tears streaming down her face. My heart sank as I approached her.

"Y/N, what's wrong?" I asked, crouching down beside her.

She looked up at me, her eyes red and puffy. "It's nothing," she said, wiping her tears away.

"It's clearly not nothing," I replied, taking her hand. "Please, tell me what's going on."

After a moment of hesitation, she finally spoke. "My parents are getting a divorce," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know what to do."

I pulled her into a hug, rubbing her back as she cried. "It's going to be okay," I said, trying to comfort her. "I'm here for you."

We sat there by the river for a while longer, talking and sharing stories. As the sun began to set, I walked her home, making sure she was safe and sound.

From that day on, Y/N and I became even closer. We supported each other through the ups and downs of life, always there to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. And even though we faced many challenges along the way, we knew that we could always count on each other.

I was walking towards my house when I noticed something unusual. My girlfriend, Y/N, was sitting on the porch crying. I immediately ran towards her.

"What's wrong?" I asked, kneeling down beside her.

"I'm sorry, Corey. I didn't want you to see me like this," she replied, wiping away her tears.

"Talk to me, Y/N. What's going on?" I said, placing my hand on her shoulder.

"I lost my job today," she said, sobbing.

"Oh, Honey. I'm so sorry," I replied, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"I don't know what to do. I have bills to pay, and I don't know how I'm going to make ends meet," she said, burying her face in my chest.

"Hey, hey, it's going to be okay. We'll figure this out together," I said, gently rubbing her back.

"I feel like such a failure," she said, looking up at me.

"You are not a failure, Sweetheart. You are strong, and we'll get through this," I said, kissing her forehead.

"Thank you, Corey. I don't know what I would do without you," she said, giving me a weak smile.

"Anytime, baby. You know I'm here for you," I replied, holding her hand.

We sat there for a while, just talking and holding each other. It was a tough day for Y/N, but I knew that we would get through it together.

I walked into my apartment and immediately knew something was wrong. It was quiet, too quiet. I called out for my girlfriend, but there was no answer. I started to walk towards the bedroom, and that's when I heard it. The faint sound of crying.

My heart sank as I opened the door to find my girlfriend sitting on the bed, tears streaming down her face. "What's wrong?" I asked, rushing over to her.

She looked up at me and shook her head, unable to speak. I sat down next to her and put my arm around her, trying to comfort her in any way I could.

"Please tell me what's wrong," I said softly.

"I can't do this anymore," she finally managed to choke out. "I can't keep living like this."

I was confused. "What do you mean?"
