Christian had been known as a lot of things things over the years. Percy Jackson Stan. Bully. Thief. Loud kid. Troublemaker. Now, he was a simp. It was so clear how much he liked Emmy. At almost any point of the day, you could catch him looking at her. But he was never sure if she liked him back. He saw her looking at Dimitri a few times but tried to brush it off. Especially after someone told him Emmy liked him back. So to make sure, he wrote her a letter pouring out his feelings. He didn't want to make it obvious it was him, so he asked Andre to deliver it for him. Once Andre told him it was delivered, he was constantly on edge, wondering if she knew it was him or if she liked him back. All his worries dissolved when she came up to him and asked, "Do you know anything about the letter Andre gave me?"
"Uh yeah. It's from me," he replied.
She smiled at him and said, "I knew it."
"So you like me?" He looked baffled.
"No shit Sherlock..." she told him.
"Oh- uhm- wow. Ok. Cool." He was utterly flabbergasted at this point.
She started turning and said, "Well, I have gym now, but see you later?"
"Uh- yeah- definitely. Totally. Whatever you want. Of course."
And of course Zoe was watching the whole thing from the doorway of Mr. Flef and Miss. Popo's classroom. She ran to tell Maria and the two of them were so happy their plans worked. But another person saw this interaction too. No one noticed Andre hiding in the corner where the water fountain was. He was enraged that he had delivered the letter that made them admit their feelings. He didn't even know what was in the letter when he delivered it. If only he had opened it before giving it to her. But now wasn't the time to dwell on the past. He needed help breaking them apart from each other so he could have Emmy to himself. So he went to find his friend Aris, who he knew would help if he offered to help him break up Dimitri and Maria.written by m
