I awoke early in the morning with Kiri, we both wanted to spend some time together before our mission. We follow each other out of our home as we walk into the forest, climbing up onto a grass clearing.

"So how are you feeling?" She asks concern in her voice "good. I'm excited it's my first mission!" I say with excitement a genuine smile on my face. "Well that's good.. but that's not what I was referring too" she says awkwardly "oh..you mean Ikàlu" she nods her head "I know you only see him as a friend. But he's crazy about you. It's so obvious he likes you. All the other guys are scared of him that's why no other boys speak to you!" She says with a giggle. "Kiri..dad would probably kill me if I spoke to any other guy that wasn't Ikàlu" I say sarcastically back "or he'd kill them" she says with a laugh as I join in "yes that's probably more realistic!"

"Seriously though. That man adores you. I want someone to look at me how he looks at you" kiri says looking off into the distance, "you'll find it kiri I promise I pray to Eywa you'll find a beautiful love." I say as I bring her in for a hug. "And I pray to Eywa for your happiness" she says in response.

We both lay on the floor in silence as Kiri connects herself to nature. She did this often, if I lay near her it was like I could feel Eywa's heart beat beneath me. It was tranquil.

The squawk of an Ikran spooked me out of my trance as Ikàlu jumped off and onto the grass. "Somebody has forgotten" he says to me jokingly, it took a couple seconds for me to understand "the mission!" I shout as he laughs at me. "Yes the mission" he says cockily as he hold his hand out to me, "I'm sorry Kiri I'll see you later" I say as I bid her goodbye taking Ikàlu's hand. "Ride with me" he says with a smile "maybe later..I haven't flown with Tàla in a while" he nods his head as I call my ikran over.

We let out war screams as we soon approached the sight, catching up with Neteyam and Lo'ak. "Someone's late" Neteyam jokes as I glare at him gliding my ikran over to cut his up as I laugh "watch where you're going" I say as a joke. "Always do baby sister" he joked as he then cuts me up "Skxawng!" I shout.

We watch from above as the ground team blow up the rails, sending the train into the air as it tumbled over soon coming to a stop. Gun shots were heard as demon planes got shot down, leading to big explosions as they all crashed down into the ground.

We fly over where they are raiding as Lo'ak speaks up "bro, we have got to get down there." He says eagerly "No way! Dad will skin us!" Neteyam shout back to the boy, "come on don't be a wuss" I hiss at Lo'ak's words, "don't be stupid. Stay here." I say looking at my twin. My words obviously didn't go through to him as he dives down on his ikran "Lo'ak" I shout following after him. "Get back here!" Neteyam and Ikàlu shout in unison as they follow behind us.

I land to the ground as I run after my twin "come on let's go!" He shouts excitedly. "Lo'ak stop!" I shout as we run past the fires. "Nàlàni be careful!" Ikàlu shouts behind me.

"Take these weapons. Here boy, go!" A Na'vi shouts to Lo'ak as he hands him a gun, we all surround the boy as Ikàlu dragged me protectively to his side. Lo'ak let's out a warm scream as he holds the gun, Neteyam yanks his arm "you don't even know how to use it." He says sternly. "Dad taught me" my twin says proudly, "ugh Lo'ak let's just go!" I say.

"Fall back! Gunships in bound" I hear my dad shout through all the noise "shit!" Neteyam shouts as he starts running, Ikàlu grabs my arm dragging me behind him. An explosion went off next to us, separating me from Ikàlu as I went flying into the air falling harshly onto the ground. I hiss at the impact as I try to get up, when out of no where a heavy piece of metal falls onto me trapping me. I was stuck..

"Nàlàni!" I hear my dad shout "Nàlàni" Ikàlu shouts after him. "dad, Ikàlu!" I try to shout as loud as I can. "help me" I say again as I try pushing this metal off, hissing in pain.

It didn't take them long to find me, I see Neteyam over my dads shoulders "is he okay!" I ask worried "he's fine. However You're not" My dad says. "I can't get it off" I say as I keep pushing at the metal "stay calm. Calm" Ikàlu says as he tried to push the metal, he managed to shift it slightly, "it's too heavy I need your help" Ikàlu says as he looks at my dad. "On three" my dad says as they give the metal a big push setting me free. I Hiss in pain as I look at the big gash on my leg "it's okay. I've got you." Ikàlu says as he comes to my side picking me up.

"What are you doing here!" My dad shouts from behind us "what the hell were you thinking!" I knew he was angry. "I'm s-sorry I couldn't just let Lo'ak go" I say as I hiss through my pain. "Sorry sir."

Ikàlu flew me back home on his Ikran, a horn was going off as we landed to let other Na'vi know we were back. Tuk came running over greeting us all as she hugged our mum, "fall in" Jake shouts as we all crowd around him, Ikàlu kept a tight grip on my waist so I wouldn't fall.

"You're supposed to be spotters. You spot bogeys, and you call 'em in. From a distance! Does any of this sound familiar? Get here!" He shouts to Lo'ak making him step forward "Jesus. I let you three geniuses fly a mission, and you disobey direct orders." He says with anger.

His attention soon turned to Kiri who was stood by mine and Neteyam's side "kiri, can you go help your grandmother with the wounded? Please." He says with some urgency "my siblings are wounded." She says in response. Neteyam Mutters "it's fine" letting her know it's was okay for her to leave, "baby girl, please. Tuk go with her. Go" he says as she walks off rolling her eyes.

"Sir I take full responsibility" Neteyam says, "yeah, you do. That's right. Cause you're the older brother you gotta act like it." He says scolding the boy, "but dad.. he followed after us it's our fault. My fault." I say as I plead with him. "Your older brother still protects you. And he didn't. But you also should've known better!" He shouts at me as my ears pin to my head.

Our mother soon cuts in "Ma Jake. Your children are actually bleeding" she says with sympathy. "Mother, it's fine I-" Neteyam says as he was cut off "just go and get patched up. Go on, dismissed." He says sternly as Ikàlu helps me walk over to my grandmothers tent.

I hiss in pain along side Neteyam, as Kiri and my Grandmother tend to our wounds. "Aw, want a kiss on the boo boo?" Spider jokes as Lo'ak laughs. "Skxawngs" Neteyam hisses at them. "Don't forget it's your fault we're like this Lo'ak" I say as I glare at him his laugh quickly fades "I forgive you tho" I say with a smile, hissing in pain again.

"I would use yalna bark" kiri says as she comes to our sides with a bowl, "oh, you would? And who is Tsahik?" Grandmother questions "you are grand- move" kiri says as she budges Lo'ak out of the way. "You are, grandmother. But yalna bark is better." She says as me and Neteyam let out more winces in pain, "it stings less" Kiri says finishing her sentence. "Mighty warriors my ass" Lo'ak jokes again.

After a while we leave grandmothers tent heading over to the campfire for some dinner. Ikàlu comes to sit by my side as he hands me my food, "how are you feeling?" He asks concerned "good now..thank you for saving me" I say with a whisper. "I always will." He says with a smirk, I gently nudge his side as I chuckle. "Maybe we could go for a ride..on my ikran tomorrow?" He says looking at me with a smile "yeah okay" I respond back.

I head back to our family's tent as my father approaches me "I'm sorry, sir it was my first mission and I let you down I-" I was quickly cut off as he engulfs me in a hug. "You haven't let me down. I'm sorry for my harsh words to you all. I thought I lost you" he says as he squeezes me close. He gently placed a kiss to the top of my head "I love you Nàlàni. You know that right?" He says questioning me.

"I know dad" I whisper. He pulls away as he looks deeply into my eyes "I chose Ikàlu because I want you to be with someone who will keep my precious baby girl safe. I didn't mean to take your freedom away. But trust me..please he is a good match. He will always keep you safe" I slightly tear up at his words as I engulf him in a hug. "I never chose someone for Kiri because she has always been independent. You however..you need someone Nàlàni someone strong" I nodded at his words..he wasn't wrong I didn't cope well being alone. I needed to hear this. To know that he did this because he loved me not because he wanted to ruin my life.
