i met this guy last month and we have been on a few dates, his name is tom, we're going out for casual drinks tonight, im really excited

i get to the bar and i see tom waiting, he greets me with a hug "hey beautiful, lets go inside" he says opening the door

we walk in and find a seat at the bar "what do you want?" he asks, "anything i don't mind, you pick" i reply, "i'll have a beer and she will have a martini" he says to the bartender

"a martini?" i say laughing, "you seem like a martini kinda girl" he says shrugging

our drinks arrive and we start up a conversation

tom: "do you have any siblings?"
me: "yea i have 3 older brothers and 1 older sister, you?"
tom: "i have a twin brother, bill"
me: "ohh i've met bill!"
tom: "yea, you like your martini?"
me: "yea its great, i want something... stronger though, you want a shot?"
tom: "yea sure"

i go and get us shots

"lets get drunk tonight" tom says, "okay, first one to get drunk has to tell a secret" i say making it more interesting, "deal!" tom says

*a lot more drinks later*

tom: " y/n i do believe that you are drunk"
me: "i might be"
tom: "tell me a secret then"
me: "okay okay... im a virgin"

his jaw drops "your a virgin!?"

i laugh "yea why? do i look like your typical slut?"

he looks me up and down "mmm no, i don't know why i was shocked your a virgin- wait no that came out wrong"

we laugh as we finish our last drinks, we walk out of the bar "well tom, i had a really nice time tonight, thank you" i say kissing his cheek

he gets a bit flustered "uh yea me too, bye virgin" he says laughing and walking away

i get back to my house and sit down in the kitchen with a glass of water when my phone buzzes, its tom

me: its only been 30 minutes
tom: what your address im coming over
me: no your not, its 2am and i have roommates
tom: you come to me then
me: i'll see you tomorrow
tom: okay goodnight, gorgeous
me: goodnight, tom

did i make the right decision to not have him over?
