tom ask you to choose between your sister or him

tom constantly cancels plans on me to go out with bill, i have absolutely no problems with this but he has a problem with it when i cancel plans on him to go out with my sister molly

me and molly have been inseparable since we were born, its me and her against anything, molly is 20 minutes older than me and she constantly brags about it

today me and tom had plans to go to the park but molly called and said that we had to go see our parents

i call tom to tell him that the plans have changed

me: "tom im sorry but i have to cancel im going out with molly"
tom: "but i haven't seen you in weeks"
me: "i know baby but i need to see my parents"
tom: "okay but why does molly have to go?"
me: "because shes my sister"
tom: "you always choose her over me, pick one, me or her"
me: "no tom thats like me telling you to choose between me or bill, thats not fair"
tom: "right so you choose molly?"
me: "i didn't say tha-"

he hung up

i look at molly, "i would've chose you anyway"
she smiles "i know y/n, lets go"

we grab the keys and go to the car, we get to our parents house after 30 minutes

we knock on the door and our dad answers it

dad: "girls hii, i haven't seen yous in ages! come in, come in, mom/mum isn't feeling well so she wont be joining us today"

i look at molly and she is trying not to laugh, our mother wasn't that nice to us growing up and to hear that she isn't feeling well is the best news in the world to us

we sit at the dinner table and dad serves food

dad: "so girls, you got boyfriends?"
me: "uh, molly, you go first"
molly: "uh no dad, do you have a boyfriend?"

i burst out laughing, its always been an inside joke between me, molly and our dad that he is gay, our dad laughs

dad: "yea his name is gary!" he rolls his eyes and smiles "back to my question, y/n?"

just as im about to answer i get a text from tom

"sorry about earlier, you shouldn't have to choose between me and your sister, i love you"

i smile "yea i have a boyfriend, you know the band tokio hotel?" i ask, my dad nods "yea i know of them, why?"
"im dating the guitarist, tom" i say looking at molly, her expression is confused "yous are still dating?" she asks, "yea" i reply

i text tom back

me: "my dad wants to meet you"
tom: "what?"
me: "my dad wants to meet you,tom"
tom: "okay"
me: "wanna come over once im home"
tom: "of course"

me and molly say our goodbyes and go back home

molly: "im going out, you coming?"
me: "uh no tom is coming over"
molly: "okay, remember to put a sock on the door!" she winks and walks out of the house

tom arrives soon after

tom: "hi baby"
me: "hiii"
tom: "movie?"
me: "yea, lets go"

we go to my room and put on a movie, we don't watch it because we are very very distracted
