Operation: Hell's Rise.

Before the events of Doom Berserk occurred...

A large spacecraft zooms through the time rift, inside the spacecraft, John Kane maintains it as all the buttons and controls start going haywire. He makes sure the craft is landing in the correct time period before something strikes the spacecraft and sends the shuttle through a void of shards. It's very vague from the window that the Slayer can see through, but the shards contain different worlds to explore, one where people are using Tarot cards to identify their personified life energy, and using that to fight an evil vampire, another deals with a man that holds a chain whip as he strikes Dracula, another where a man with large black hair shouts as his hair goes from black to golden, and one where a kid with green hair transforms into a large man with really long green hair and a glowing fist of energy.

John Kane: where even am I?

The ship gets blasted into a time portal, luckily the time period Kane was supposed to land on is the one that he crashlands on. John Kane summons a super shotgun and starts roaming the world and begins to realize that something is off here. He charges toward a tornado and sees a large beast battling a knight on an armored horse. Skull Knight battling Zodd. John Kane clearly sees the demon in the situation and charges, he leaps in and fires the super shotgun at Zodd's back, causing the beast to stop for a while and provide Skull Knight enough time to ride into the tornado while John Kane hops on the horse.

Skull Knight: who even are you?

John Kane: I'm John Kane, nickname me Mark Doom for whoever we're saving.

Skull Knight: you sure do pack a fight Kane, I'll allow you to stay.

Cut to present day in The time period of DOOM.

John Kane wakes up, knowing it was a dream of what had happened when he met Skull Knight back in the time period of Berserk.

John Kane's mind: hard to believe that magic isn't used much anymore, and when it was, it was used to throw my time period into utter Hell.

John Kane holds onto the handle of a pan while bacon sizzles in it. His wife Chloe hugs him from behind while he makes breakfast, it brings him the warmth and comfort he's never felt after his wife originally died.

Chloe: I've missed you John.

John Kane: I missed you too love.

Hunter is now 16, and he's a sophomore in highschool who is more into the athletic, his grades while average prove that he's hardworking. Hunter walks into the kitchen and smiles at his father and mother.

Hunter: good morning mom and dad.

John Kane: good morning son.

Chloe: good morning sweetheart.

Hunter sits down at the table as John Kane places a plate of eggs and bacon towards him.

Hunter: nice, thanks dad.

John Kane: anything for my son.

Kane suits up and gets ready for work, he gives his wife a kiss and hugs his son before taking off to work on a hover military jeep.

In the time of Berserk.

A young teenage boy and a young teenage girl are walking through a forest.

MoonShine: tell me why we have to hunt  again.

Elise: Father said that we have to prepare for the worst at all times. So once Mother and Father are gone we can handle ourselves.

MoonShine: right.

MoonShine carries a sword similar to the one Guts used before moving onto the dragon slayer, Elise carries a sword similar to Casca's thinner and lighter blade. As they walk, they're met by a few crooks that are extremely bulky and demonic looking, almost like they are not fully human.
