"Did we make it? Are we back?" Marty asked.

A jumbo jet just missed them.

"Ahh!" Alex screamed.

"We're back." Doc flew the DeLorean down a street, let the wheels down and landed. Driving normally to Marty's house.

The DeLorean drove them into the estate. A pack of stray dogs run across the road after the car passed. The DeLorean drove down the street and stopped at Marty's house. Trash is everywhere and most of the houses on Marty's street are empty/boarded up/have got "For Sale" signs in the front gardens. Marty opens the door and gets out of the DeLorean.

"If you need me, I'll be in my lab, dismantling this thing."

"Right." Marty said.

"Alex? Are you coming back to the lab with me?" Doc asked.

"If you're okay with it, can I stay here for the night?" Alex asked.

Doc thought for a moment. "Go ahead kid."

"Thank you." She ran over to the driver door, and hugged her grandfather. "I'll see you later." She ran back to follow Marty.

Marty closed the door and Doc drove off. Marty and Alex went to the side gate and tried to open it - but there was a padlock.

"What the hell." Marty said, surprised.

Marty climbed over the gate, then helped Alex over.

He quietly opened the window. They stepped inside, and Marty tripped and fell onto the bed. The light was turned on, and they saw a young girl, in his bed. Except it wasnt his bed. The room was completely different.

"AHHHH!!!" She screamed. "Mom! Dad! Help me!"

The door burst open, and her father entered. He was carrying a baseball bat. " Freeze!"

"It's okay!" Alex tried to deescalate the situation. "We don't want any trouble."

"Well you got trouble now, you pieces of trash."

Her mom entered, and stood in the doorway. With her was their other child. Her dad tried to hit Marty with the bat, but broke some of his daughters things instead. She was still crying.

"Listen, we're just in the wrong house!" Marty said.

The dad aimed, and missed again. "You got that right!" He aimed again.

"Look, it was a mistake." Alex said.

"You're damn right you made a mistake!"

Marty and Alex ran out of the house. The family continued to chase them until the end of the front yard.

Marty and Alex ran down a street. Things are very different to how they remembered. In the distance they heard gunshots and screaming. At a corner there are the outlines of two murder victims. Marty and Alex ran down another street and three police cars drive past in the background.

"This has got to be the wrong year." Alex said.

Marty ran over to a nearby house, and picked up the newspaper. He read out the date. "October 26th, 1985? It can't be."

"Drop it." An echoing voice said.

Alex and Marty looked behind them to see Mr. Strickland, wearing a nightshirt with a bulletproof vest on top. He had a gun pointing at them.

"So you're the son of a bitch whos been stealing my papers."

"Mr. Strickland, It's us! Marty and Alex." Marty said.
