The lance of light ripped through space. It pierced every heaven of the planets it passed, like an arrow pointed at the heart of the galaxy. People of different cultures and races looked up at their skies and marvelled at the strange phenomena. Some looked through telescopes and theorised on what could be passing their planet unlike any comet ever seen. Some prayed to their gods at the sign of a good omen while others wailed in agony as the terrible omen only promised death and plague.

The lance passed through the massive ring of junk and rock that surrounded the galactic core. Anything it touched exploded in a mass of dust, the raw power of the lance too powerful for anything it touched.

Once clear of the junk it made a beeline towards the massive star that sat in the middle of the galaxy, radiating extreme heat and light essentially powering the mass of stars and planets that surrounded it.

The lance pierced the barrier and it shattered into a million pieces, the Heterochromatic Essense fading.

And for a moment in time the Greater Evil was unchained. His darkness began to ooze out into the galaxy. "AT LAST," his voice burned like a thousand stars, "I AM FRE-"

Two souls cried out as one as the lance ripped through the Greater Evil's body. He wailed in agony and defeat as his entire being slowly began to disintegrate.

"No!" he cried in shock. "I am the Greater Evil! Nothing can destroy me, nothing!" His desperation shined through as he said words he had never uttered before. "Khaos, help me! Please Mother!"

"Mother is dead," Rilik sneered. Both he and Cecil floated in front of the Greater Evil like ghostly figures. "No one can help you now."

"No you must help me! I can give you power! Anything you want!" The pitiful man pleaded. His form had dwindled, now skinny and frail arms begged desperately.

Rilik laughed and turned to Cecil. "I love it when the bad guy begs for his life."

"Hmm," Cecil agreed. "In the end just man."

"No..." the Greater Evil whined, his voice now small and pathetic.

The star in the centre of the galaxy boomed and sent a wave of light racing through the galaxy.
