Lloyd sat with me at the table during thanksgiving dinner. Everyone was here. My brothers. Their wives. The kids.

Lloyd was rubbing my back. Everyone just talked and sipped on wine. Lloyd got us both sparkling wine instead.

I had my hand on his thigh as we just hung out.

Molly came over to Lloyd. I smiled and looked down. She smiled at him.

"Uncle." She said. I giggled and picked her up.

"That's uncle lloyd."

She giggled. Lloyd was red in the face. She smiled and got into his lap.

"Auntie. Is uncle lloyd friends with daddy?" She asked. I nodded. She got comfortable with Lloyd. He looked like he was gonna shit his pants.

"Have you ever had a child in your lap before?" I whispered.

"No." He whispered. I smiled.

Callums wife, Melissa was smiling beside me. I smiled back.

"He's never held a kid before." I said.

"Oh she will make you feel right at home." Mel said.

I giggled. Lloyd looked like a lost sheep. He was so worried.

She stood up on his thighs and looked at him. I smiled and watched them.

"What are you drinking?" Mel asked.

"Umm... sparkling wine."

"Like non-alcoholic? What are you pregnant?" She asked. Lloyd coughed.

I looked at her. The room went quiet.

"Vanessa." Sam said.

"Yes..."

"Are you pregnant?" He asked.

I looked at lloyd. He held mollys waist and smiled.

"Yes." I said.

"Oh my god seriously?" Josh asked.

"Yeah." I said. "I'm three weeks."

Everyone cheered. I giggled. Lloyd kissed my cheek.

"Oh my god! When did you find out?" Josh's wife, Anna asked.

"Yesterday." I said. She gasped.

Lloyd smiled softly. He looked happy.

"I'm glad that's out." I said and smiled.

Lloyd sat next to me on the couch. He was asleep next to me. We were so tired. Everyone had left. But now I was just with my tired husband.

His arm was over my stomach. He was so quiet lately. I knew that his mind was running far too fast.

I moved to kiss his head before laying back with him. He shifted a bit as I set a blanket on him. I moved him to lay on me, his head resting on my chest. My legs were on either side of him.

"Sorry." He whispered.

"Don't be." I said. He looked up at me. His thoughts were obviously hazy. He looked dazed. And he looked like he needed a drink.

"So you gonna tell all the rest of the boys tomorrow?" I asked. He nodded.

"I won't drink much."

"You're fine." I said.

He smiled. "You just wanna baby me when I'm drunk and stupid."

"That just helps me prepare for my little friend." I said as I patted my belly. He hummed.
