Somewhere in the UK, Earth - 138"With great power comes great responsibility."

Kiara opened her eyes, looking around briefly before realizing where she was. She looked up at Hobie, who still was asleep, getting up and walking into the kitchen. She grabbed some cereal and poured it into a bowl, followed by milk.
She looked up when she heard footsteps, smiling at Hobie. He grabbed himself some cereal, sitting at the table with her. "Goodmorning sunshine, enjoy your beauty sleep?" Kiara asked him, smiling as he shook his head.
"I slept just fine. How did you sleep, love?" He asked before shoving a spoonful of cereal in his mouth. "Good, I slept well. It's better than I have in a couple of days, actually." She told him, finishing her cereal before rinsing her bowl out and setting it in the sink.
"Hey, do you want to call Gwen and see if she is down to practice a couple of songs?" She asked him, sitting down at the table to wait for him to finish. "Yeah, sure, that's a good idea." He told her, clicking a few buttons on his watch before Gwen's hologram showed up.
"What's up, guys?" She asked, looking in between the two of them. "Do you want to come over to my flat, Gwenny? We can practice some of our songs." He offered her, Kiara nodding along. "Yeah, sure, I'll be there after I get this wrapped up." She said before ending the call.
Kiara got up, walking into Hobie's spare bedroom. Inside laid a Drumb set, multiple different electric and bass guitars, and many other musical instruments. The room had soundproof padding, of course. They didn't want Hobie getting kicked out.
She grabbed her black bass guitar, plugging it into the Amp before she turned it on. She plucked the strings, tuning each before she sat down, resting the instrument in her lap. She began plucking a couple of notes to one of their songs, looking up as she noticed Hobie walk in.
He did the same with his electric guitar, playing a tune with her. It was odd without the bass, but Gwen would be there soon enough. When the song was over, Kiara smiled widely, leaning back before closing her eyes. She quickly opened them, looking at the watch on her wrist. "Damn it, I have work in like 3 hours?" She told Hobie with a groan.
"Boo, call off. You don't need to work." He said with a smile, looking up as Gwen walked in. "Hey guys, ready to rock and roll?" She asked them, and Kiara sighed before nodding.

Kiara leaned on the counter in front of her, carefully applying her eyeliner. She paid no attention to Hobie as he walked in, sitting on the toilet and staring at her. She finished her eyeliner, curling her eyelashes and applying mascara. "Whatcha doing love?" He asked her, resting his head in his palms.
"I'm getting ready for work, silly." She told him with a smile, looking at her peircings in the mirror. "Should I change my nose peircings?" She asked him, looking over so he could look. "I think they look good, actually." He said with a shrug. "Though you always look good." He smirked a bit.
"Oh shut up." She shook her head with a large smile, straightening out the blouse she wore. "I seriously can not stand wearing these close. I just want to be in my sweats and stay home." She grumbled, putting in her gold earing before looking at Hobie.
"Do I look good?" She asked him. "Always do." He replied, winking at her. She simply shook her head, walking out of the bathroom before grabbing her keys. "Okay, I'm out. Please don't make a mess. I'll see you in 4 hours." She told him before walking out.
She got in her car, starting it and beginning the 30-minute drive to work. Including traffic that is. When she arrived, she got out of the car, walking in and immediately heading to the clock in the area. Once she punched her number in and was sure she was getting paid for being there, she made the short walk to the front desk where she worked.
"Hey Carri." She told the woman who sat there now. "Oh hi Kiara! I'm glad you're here, I'm ready to go home." She told her, standing up and instantly grabbing her stuff. Typical Carri, always in a rush to leave. "Yeah, I get that. Well, have a good night." She told the woman before watching her practically run for the exit.
She shook her head, looking around at the mess of papers. She groaned, beginning to sort through them. The shift went by relatively fast, and a couple of arguments and misunderstandings took place between her and the residents, but otherwise, it was fine. When it finally hit 7:00, she was ready to leave, packing up her things as she saw her shift change walk through the door.
She gave him a rundown of what happened, bidding goodbyes before walking out. She drove home, getting excited to simply lay in bed. She was exhausted. When she got she, she took off her shoes, starting to take off her jacket, quickly followed by her shirt. She walked through the door, face heating up as she saw the man in front of her.
She figured Hobie would have gone home by now, but no. He sat lying on her bed, scrolling on his phone. A large smirk was placed on his face as he raised one of his eyebrows. "Hobie, turn around." She told him, quickly changing as he did. "Why are you still here?" She asked, grabbing a make-up while and beginning to take her makeup off.
"You didn't tell me to leave." He said simply, shrugging his shoulders. Yeah, that's fair. She rolled her eyes, throwing the wipe in the trash before crawling into the bed. She pushed Hobie over, whining slightly. "Quit being a bed hog." She grumbled, smacking his arm as he chuckled. "Go to bed, you idiot." She told him before drifting off to sleep.
