Larissa had been breathing heavily since you brought her back to her living quarters, her mind racing in a million different directions about the events that just happened at the Rave'N. The night was going as smoothly as ever until the very end when red paint had rained down on everybody. As you closed the door to her room, Larissa started pacing back and forth, panic visibly written all over her face and body.
"Hey, hey–" You reached your hands up to cup her cheeks, stopping her in her tracks to bring her focus onto you, "Larissa look at me." Her eyes that were once trained to the ground met with your own eyes with hesitation. "Everything is going to be okay."
"Did you not see what just happened? That entire dance is now completely ruined. My hair is ruined. My clothes are ruined. Everything is ruined–"
"Larissa, listen to me." One of your hands left her cheek to gently lay on her chest over her beating heart. "Yes, the dance is ruined, and we will figure out what exactly happened. But first I need you to calm down."
"Calm down?" She let out a half laugh, "How on Earth do you expect me to calm down?" Her blue eyes searched your face for any kind of answer.
"Well first, how about we get you out of these clothes, hmm?"
"Y/N, I am not in the mood–"
"That's not what I meant," Your thumb stroked her cheek gently. "You need to get cleaned up. You're covered in paint. You'll feel a bit better once you've taken a nice warm shower."
The blonde took a deep breath, nodding her head slowly before knitting her brows as she took your words in.
"Paint?"
"Mhm, it's all just paint."
Larissa's eyes flicked to your hair to examine the red tint that now covered you, her thumb swiping at your hairline over the now hardened paint before examining her fingers.
"Just paint." You repeated, reassuring her that it was just some lame attempt at a recreation of Carrie. "Now come on, let's get you cleaned up." Your hand met with hers, leading her towards the blonde's bathroom and closing the tall door behind you. You made yourself at home, turning the water on and holding a hand under the running water, waiting for it to turn warm.
Larissa's gaze never left you, noting the way your hand squeezed onto hers as you felt the water, and gave her a sweet little smile when you turned your focus back to her after the water got to a nice temperature.
"Okay, the water is ready. Take all the time you need, I'll just be right outside waiting." You went to let go of her hand, but Larissa only held onto you tighter, stopping you from getting out of reach.
"Stay with me."
Your eyes softened when you saw the look of desperation on her face. It was a look you never thought you would see settling upon Larissa's usual stoic face, and your heart dropped when a quiet 'please' left her reddened lips shortly after.
"Okay." You gave her a reassuring smile, "I'll stay."
Larissa's lips lifted into a grateful smile at your words, a small weight visibly lifted from her shoulders when you nonchalantly reached for the zipper of her dress to help her out of her red stained clothes. The paint had completely soaked through her dress, coating her cream colored undergarments with a red tint.
After helping get rid of her dress, Larissa turned you around by your shoulders, slipping her hands down your back to drag the metal zipper down your back to let your dress fall to the floor. After you turned back around, your hands lifted to her hair, freeing her blonde locks from the small clip that held them back, Larissa smiling softly while doing the same for you. Larissa was quiet as the two of you stripped out of your undergarments before stepping into the shower under the heated water.
