"Terra, sister. Where are you going?" A small girl with blonde hair asked as a brown teddy bear dangled from her right hand.
"Nowhere, Lucy." The much taller girl spoke with a smile and bent down to reach the younger girl's height. "I'll be back. Please, don't tell the ladies here."
"But, you have a bag like you're going away for a while."
The tall girl's smile slowly turned into a frown and her dark blue eyes filled with water. "Lu... I'm sorry. But, I will be leaving for a few years." She spoke slowly and softly, trying not to make a scene. The younger girl tilted her head, seeming curious about the information.
"But, why? Don't you love us, Terra?" The young girl's bright blue eyes started to be filled with tears that fell down her face.
"Lu-"
"Don't call me that! You don't care!" The blonde girl screamed with tears falling down her face as she started to sprint away.
"Lucy! Please!" The taller girl quickly shot up and moved her foot, as if she was about to run after Lucy. But before she could, another voice came from the hall.
"What's with all this racket so late? Do I need to talk to Father Jarrold about this?" A girl wearing an all-black nun outfit came stomping out of the door. "Lucy, what's the matter? Go to your room at once!" She commanded the young girl and shot her head at the older girl across the hall. The nun's eyes widened when she saw Terra's pale face and bags.
"Terra, where do you think you're going? You will come here right now and talk to Father Jarrold!" She spoke quickly and started to march away from the crying kid to Terra.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." She mumbled and started to slowly walk away.
"Terra! Now!"
"Fuck off, sister Myra!" Terra hollered and started to sprint through the halls and the nun quickly started to chase after her and screamed at her to come back.
In all of the chaos, more and more nuns came out of their room to see Terra running through the halls. Her neck-length black hair flew behind her, and her ripped gown moved in one motion. All of the nuns chasing her kept on tripping wither long dresses as they chased and screamed for the tall girl to come back.
Terra kept running through each hall, each cafeteria, and through the entire hellish church. After a little while, some nuns fell behind. Terra, however, kept strong.
After what felt like forever, Terra saw the massive door that allowed her to leave this place behind. With a massive smile, she opened the towering doors and saw a mass of people in blue with red and blue lights.
"Get back inside your home, ma'am." She heard one of the many men's voices come closer and closer until she could see him perfectly.
"What are you talking about? You're sleeping, sir." She spoke through her throat, trying not to sound fearful as she felt one of the nuns grab her and the other coming right up behind her.
"What are-" The boy who once towered over suddenly fell to the ground with his eyes closed, falling asleep.
"You witch!" The girl who had Terra's arm screamed and pushed her to the ground. "You dare to fight the police!"
"You're all asleep! Everyone has been asleep!" Terra screamed as if she was being murdered and everyone dropped to the ground.
Hearing everybody drop to the ground, Terra forced her shaking body off of the ground. Seeing what she has done, she felt her heart race and her breath become heavy. "They're not dead, Terra... not dead... not dead... not... dead." She said under her breath, reminding herself she was no monster, witch, or devil, as they all have said.
She started to slowly back up to the door. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." She said and turned her head and began running away from the church once more. This time, with nobody chasing her.
