Hours passed, and school was over. Remembering her 'mission', Terra re-brushed her hair and changed into a striped black and white shirt with long white jeans. Then, she left her dorm and went to the front desk, heading for the library.

"Um, hi!" Terra smiled awkwardly at the receptionist.

"Hello, wh-" The girl with a tight bun and annoyed look said, just before getting interrupted.

"Oh, hey, Terra!" Sero said, coming up from behind her, causing Terra to jump.

"You get scared so easily." He laughed slightly and raised a single eyebrow at her.

"Whatever. You're the one who always sneaks up behind me, like a snake... I should start calling you a snake." Terra rolled her eyes and looked back at the receptionist.

"Um, sorry about that! But, may I go to the library, please?" Terra asked the old woman with gray hair.

"Name?" She asked dryly.

"Terra Via."

"Ok, you may go. Be back before ten at night... and know;  I'm always watching." She said as she lifted up her glasses. Terra smiled, understanding the rule as she moved closer to the door outside.

"Hello! I am Hinta Sero and I will be back before ten. Can I also go to the library?" He spoke as if he just decided. And, when Terra heard that, she stopped in her tracks, slight panic and confusion taking over.

"No dating. But you may go." The woman behind the signing-in and out table glared and pushed up her glasses once again.

"Oh! It's not like that! At all." Terra chimed in unexpectedly as Sero walked over to her.

The lady just ignored her as the two went out the door, going to the library together. Unwilling for Terra's part, of course. She would now have to lie to Sero, who would somehow see right through it.

"Is it fine that I'm joining in?" Sero looked at the girl with a slight smile. "I was leaving to try and do something, so I forced myself in."

"It's fine! I was trying to figure out why."

"Ok, that's good."

Surprisingly to Terra, the whole walk to the library was quiet. Neither Terra nor Sero said a word, and it wasn't awkward. She stared at the sky, trees, and birds, taking in all the nature she could; and Sero seemed to be doing the exact same thing. Terra couldn't blame him. Everything about the outdoors was beautiful in her eyes. From the smallest and most annoying fly to the birds in the sky. Something about the peacefulness of the outside made Terra happy.

After a longer walk than expected, the two came across a larger building that was made out of white brick with a light gray rooftop. On the wall were words painted in a beautiful baby blue. It read.

'Musutafu Library.'

After walking through the large metal doors, Terra instantly smelled coffee. With a slight laugh, Terra looked at Sero and said, "It smells delicious in here."

Sero's black eyes widened as he looked at Terra with red growing on his cheeks. "Y-yeah," he said awkwardly.

Terra's face turned from happy to confused, and then she shook her head, ignoring the sudden change in Sero's expression. "Anyway, I'm going to find a book. I'll be right back!" She smiled as she began to walk on the red carpeted floor. It was the kind of carpet you'd find at your grandmother's house. Old, dusty, but had some weird beauty to it.

After Terra walked away from Sero, he walked the opposite way; possibly trying to find a book, maybe getting out of her way, or even trying to find something to do while he waited for Terra.
