avery was laying in billie's arms as they both cuddled while watching a movie on the living room couch of billie's home.
all of billie's family had left a while ago so they were alone and to be honest billie was thankful because all they would do was embarrass her around avery.
she had told finneas about her feelings for avery and being the big brother her is, he just told her to "grow some balls and ask her on a date"
she had been thinking about it for a while, but she couldn't seem to figure out the right way to ask and what if she says no? she wasn't really good at handling rejection.
avery on the other hand was oblivious to billie's heavy breathing because she was too focused on laughing at the movie playing in front of her.
the sound of avery's laughter instantly relaxed billie and she took a deep breath before deciding that this was the right time to ask.
"hey ave?" billie asked as she stared down at the girl in her lap.
avery hummed as she looked up at billie with a smile- smiling even harder when the raven haired girl reciprocated the smile.
"can i ask you something?" billie said and avery furrowed her eyebrows at how nervous and anxious billie was acting before she sat up.
"yeah?" avery asked as she sat up sitting criss cross next to billie as she watched her fiddle with her fingers.
she didn't find out did she?
"would you?, no- can i take you on a date" billie rushed out and avery let out a sigh of relief before chuckling at billie's nervousness.
"yes billie, you may" avery said as she smiled before kissing billie's cheek and resting her head on her shoulder turning her attention back to the movie.
billie smiled so hard her cheeks started hurting as she let out a breath she didn't even know she had been holding in.
after fighting with herself for a couple of seconds, billie kissed avery's cheek and wrapped her arm around her waist pulling her closer.
both girls continued watching the movie, but too be honest they couldn't tell you what the movie was about.
they were to busy imagining their date and fighting the reappearing butterflies in their stomachs.
