avery sighed for what seemed like the millionth time as she tried to study for an exam that was upcoming.   she hates studying with a passion, but she couldn't fail this exam... at least not again.

she thought sitting at a library where it was quiet and no possible distractions around her would help, but honestly it wasn't any better.

you really can't distract yourself from your own mind.

to be honest it really wasn't the work she was worried about, more so it was-

"hey! avery what are you doing here" the raven haired girl she had grown a connection to overtime spoke as she sat down next to her.

the sound of her voice brought a smile to avery's face and those blue eyes made her heart skip a beat or two.

"studying sadly, why are you here though i don't see a book in your hand?"  avery asked as she closed her notebook.

"i dunno... i got bored and figured you would be here" billie said as she placed her head in her palm and gazed over what avery was working on.

she looked up at the sun kissed girl and frowned when she saw how stressed she looked.

"i think you need a distraction from work" billie said and avery just chuckled while shaking her head.

"there's no way... even if i wanted to its just too much" avery said somewhat mumbling the last part.

billie sighed before standing up and grabbing all of avery's things and putting them back into her back pack.

overtime avery learned that billie was a very stubborn girl so she just decided not to fight it, and honestly a little break shouldn't hurt that much.

"c'mon let's go" billie said as she threw avery's back pack over her shoulder, her chains clanking together as she did.

avery just smiled before following behind billie.
they had made it to the car door before avery realized that she would have to leave her car here in order to ride with billie.

"wait billie... what about my car?"  avery asked and billie just rolled her eyes and gave avery a dumb look.

"i'll drop you back off to come pick it up" billie said in a duh tone before chuckling and getting in the car, avery doing the same.

as she drove through the streets of la with billie next to her screaming the lyrics of a song at the top of her lungs, avery noticed how much fun she has around billie.

billie was a charming person and made you want to be around her more every time you hung out with her.  she always knew how to lighten up the mood and cause laughter.

the way she would always check up on avery or the way she would text her every day, whether it was telling her about a childish disagreement her and her brother had got into or about a book she had found interest in.

billie always made avery feel included.

even if they had just met a month ago, billie made it feel like they had knew each other for a lifetime.
