today was finally the day both girls had been waiting on and staying up all night for.

their date.

billie stayed up all night looking for nice places to take avery until she finally decided on taking her on a nice dinner date at her favorite restaurant.

avery on the other hand stayed up all night from the adrenaline that was flowing through her body.  this was the first time anyone had ever taken her on a date, and she was happy it was billie.

billie thought she would change her appearance so she decided to get some cream colored almond shaped acrylics to compliment her rings.

she went with something simple but still kinda dressy so she wouldn't overdress.  she wanted avery to have all the spotlight tonight

she stared at herself in the mirror for a minute or so before deciding to go to finneas's room for some advice.

"just be you billie, don't be nervous" finneas said with a chuckle.

"you're right- but what if she doesn't have fun or something?" billie said as she ran her fingers through her black hair with a sigh.

"billie if she thought she wouldn't have fun, she wouldn't have said yes" finneas said as he stood up and walked behind billie who was facing the mirror.

"you got this" finneas said before kissing billies cheek and walking out of his room.

billie tried shaking the nervousness out of herself before grabbing her phone out of her pocket and sending avery a text that she was on the way as she headed out the door and to her car.

when avery heard her phone go off a second time she jumped up and checked it, reading that billie was outside. she quickly sprayed perfume on her self a few more times before grabbing her phone and walking outside.

billie smiled when she saw avery before getting out and opening the door for her receiving a "thanks"

the engine rumbled as billie started her car before putting her arm over avery's seat and backing out of her driveway.

every time she did this avery felt butterflies erupt in her stomach as she bit back a smile. billie noticed that and might've done that on purpose to get a reaction out of her.

they both watched the road in silence as faint music played in the background before billie decided to speak up.

"have you ever been to norms?" billie asked avery who was currently resting her head on the car window.

"nope what is that? it sounds good"  avery said as she sat up and looked over at billie who's attention was still on the road.

"you'll see" billie said with a smirk as she glanced over at avery as she rolled her eyes and chuckled.

once they pulled into the parking lot, avery's jaw dropped at how fancy this restaurant looked and billie just chuckled before taking off her seatbelt and jogging to open avery's door.

"how much money did you spend on reservations, b?"  avery said and billie just shrugged with a smile before shutting her door.

as they were walking towards the door billie carefully interlocked her hand with avery's.

"is this okay?" billie whispered as she leaned over avery's ear and avery nodded with a warm smile as she squeezed billie's hand.

"last name please" the employee spoke as he glanced up at billie with a smile.

"o'connell"  billie said as she swung their hands back and forth and the employee who's name was mike' told them to follow him.

he sat them both down at a table labeled "private" before handing them their menus and walking off with a smile.

"billie please tell me how much this was so i can pay you back"  avery said and billie shook her head.

"no... you actually showing up is enough for me" billie said and avery just pouted before she grabbed her menu and started looking over it.

"i want whatever you get" avery said as she placed her menu down and grabbed billie's hand as she started playing with her large rings.

"you barely looked over the menu though, baby"  billie said and she smiled at avery's reaction to the nickname before she was politely interrupted by the waitress.

"um i'll have you're famous spaghetti please" billie spoke with a smile before the waitress moved on to avery's order.

"i'll have the same" avery said before the waitress walked off leaving both girls alone.

they talked each others ears off the whole time they waited for their food to arrive. both of their eyes would light up every time they mentioned each other or something that they were interested in until they were interrupted when their food arrived.

"have you ever watched lady and the tramp?" billie said with a smirk as she took a bite out of her food.

"yeah it's one of my favorites... why?" avery asked oblivious to what billie was hinting at but she caught on when she saw billie smirk.

"billie! no where not doing that" avery said as she playfully shoved billie's shoulder making her bust out in laughter.

both girls continued to play and laugh at each others childish behavior as they ignored the stares from the elderly couples who obviously thought they were to young to be here.

they didn't really care though, they only thing they cared about in this moment was one another.  billie's nervousness had drifted away and avery's mind had forgot about all her worries.

they were meant for each other, sometimes billie thought that they purposely met because of how similar they acted.

they both were happy in this moment, and that was all that really mattered.
