Double Take

3rd person's pov :

"I got in Medical." Beam checks the result early in the morning although he knew he would get in.

Forth tosses his phone on the bed "I got in engineering and you missed for a little margin."

Beam sruggs. He initially wanted to change into engineering but after a serious thought he realised taking engineering now means a whole new lots to study. So it's better to study what he already knows.

Forth who already knew Beam wouldn't get in isn't surprised. He is more worried about Beam's relation with Pha and Kit. They way Beam looked lonely that night , he doesn't want to leave Beam's side for even one second. .

"Let's go to medical first then I will visit engineering on my way back." Forth suggests

Beam shakes his head "You will be late for Sotus."

Forth frowns "How do you know about Sotus ?"

Beam bites his tongue. Shit. Now they are in college he needs to be more careful. He can't let Forth know about his secret. "You told me , yourself when you talked about engineering.

Forth blinks. Shit. How can he talk about Sotus without entering the college. He needs to be careful next time. He can't let Beam know about his secret.

"Oh ! It's ok , I will manage."

Beam finishes his admission just in the time when Phana and Kit enters the line.

"Beeaaammm !" Kit shouts to the front of the line.

Beam looks back. "Oh ! You guys are here ?"

"Of course , we are here. We called you so many times. Why didn't you pick up our call ?" Phana asks eyeing Forth beside Beam.

"I was busy in line. I didn't notice." Beam replies while checking missed calls on his phone.

"You didn't even wait for us." Kit pouts.

Beam smiles. But his cheeks didn't form dimple "nothing like that Kit. I just need to accompany him to engineering. I will see you guys later. Byee."

Forth reads Beam's expression caeefully. Something is wrong. But he lets it go as Beam has already walked ahead.

"Wait ! What's your name ? How do you know Beam ?" Phana asks hurriedly as soon as Forth turns around.

Forth stops his steps. He turns around. It's meaningless to hide his name when he has already encountered Phana so many times already. "Forth ! Forth Jaturaphoom. "

"How do you know Beam ?" Phana asks again.

"From engineering admission form line."

"Don't lie. You two look like, you know each other for decades." Kit frowns "Beam is not an extrovert who makes friends from line and gets this close with them."

Forth sruggs. He turns back to look at Beam. One girl has stopped Beam to ask for something. 

Phana looks at Forth' expression "You know Beam is not the person, you think ! If you have any feeling for Beam , anything more than friend , Beam wouldn't value it. Beam is a playboy. He doesn't care about feelings."

Forth turns at Phana with a raised eyebrow "You are bad mouthing about your friend behind his back ?"

"We are warning you and we are stating the fact. That's not bad mouthing."

Forth still remembers his first conversation with Phana and Kit as he sits in the bar sofa with the doctor gang and their boyfriend.
