Realizing the fountain truly was of blood, she thought back to how Jake explained that everyone is vampires and mentally scolded herself for not expecting the obvious.

"Don't be alarmed. It's not human blood, but animal."

"Why animal?"

Sunghoon continues to lead Jeoju through the room, sliding a mirror aside, framed with silver.

Are all accessible mirrors bordered silver?

Yes, they are.

Jeoju jumps at the mental response, looking at Sunghoon to see if he was the one who responded. Nothing on his expression seemed to prove that it was him.

Odd...

Not at all. It's me, Heeseung. I'm able to read your mind when you're close by.

Close by?

You'll see soon.

Keeping to herself, Sunghoon moves a large drape beside to reveal a much larger room than expected. As big as a courtroom. This room had an alter of some sort, with a mirror on top, a tall podium towering over it, as if a ritual would be performed of some sort.

"Can you take a guess of where we are?" Sunghoon asks, taking his cape off, revealing his slender, lean figure. His waist sinched with a black corset over his black turtleneck.

Jeoju shakes her head as she takes another look around the area, trying to think of any place besides behind the Opera House.

"You, Jeoju, are underneath the main stage."

Her eyes widen at his response, looking upon the room once more, not believing that the main stage she performs upon is right above.

Sunghoon continues to walk across the marble floors, Jeoju watching him with curiosity as she silently follows behind.

You're growing near.

Jeoju gulps at Heeseung's mental comment, a little freaked out at how close she may be to him without realizing it.

Sunghoon moves aside a large curtain, allowing Jeoju to come across a small body of water.

Wait! I know where this leads!

"Sunghoon, I know where I am!"

Sunghoon's reaction to this is mild, considering the fact that the temple is bigger than she thinks but decides to let Jeoju take the lead.

"Ok, then. If you know where you are, I'll let you go back."

"You're not coming with?"

"No, I've got to put my horse away for the evening."

Jeoju nods, turning away to walk forward, following the waters.

"If you get lost, look for the silver lining."

"Will I see you again?"

"This is not the end of our encounters, my dear."

Jeoju's cheeks redden at the sudden nickname from Sunghoon as she moves forward, trying to put aside the nickname.

You liked that, didn't you?

No answer.

Oh, you loved to hear him call you that.

Shut up, Heeseung.

So you admit it? Do you like Sunghoon?

I didn't admit anything. And no, I don't like Sunghoon.

What about Jake? I saw your precious little exchange.

What are you talking about?

I saw the way you held his face, him kissing your neck as you held him.

Heeseung, that's invasive.

This is just the beginning.
